i’ve come to the realisation that i am cooked and will very likely NOT be getting my goal ss of 40+ for biology as im a bit cooked for the exam
however…. it might be possible??
my sac marks are:
SAC 1: 85%
SAC 2: 82.5%
SAC 3: 95%
SAC 4: 85%
SAC 5: 87.5%
got no idea what my ranking is but i’m definitely within top 30% of my cohort at a private school.
with this in mind, how well would i need to do on the exam to get a 40??

if i am a lower rank than somebody does that mean i can’t get a better study score than them even i do better on the exam?
also, i understand that rankings are school based but how do they distribute the study scores?? is one school’s rank 1 better than another’s??
how does sac scaling work? i’ve talked to a student who did geography last year, and he said that all his sacs scaled up to 100. does this mean that our school’s sacs were hard compared to other schools?
since i was around 10 i’ve slowly stopped being affectionate with my family. as a young child i was always fine to hug my parents and accept their touches etc. however as ive gotten older ive started to really hate it when my parents hug me or try to initiate any physical contact. it used to just be hugs and kisses but not even the slightest brushing past each other makes me physically recoil in disgust. i don’t understand why this happens to me, because i am fine to hug and touch my friends, other relatives and even strangers, but u simply HATE touch from my family.
my parents have always been very accepting and gentle, never tried to hit me or anything abusive. emotionally, my parents hav
after listening to the song we never dated, the ‘i can’t make you love me’ part sounds SO familiar like there’s another song with a very similar melody
i’m studying geography 3/4 and i’ve just got my second SAC back, and i’ve scored 39/40 for both (condensed to 19.5/20 for both), and i am going to get my fieldwork mark back, which is worth 50 marks. (plus a structured questions worth 10 marks which i’m assuming i got 9/10 or higher on)
unfortunately, i think i’ve done worse than what i hoped for on the fieldwork, and i’m really worried it’s going to impact my chances at getting my goal study score. getting a 45/50 on the fieldwork brings my unit 3 score to a 93%, which is definitely lower than i hoped for. however if i can get 100% in unit 4 (definitely doable imo) my SAC average for the year will be around 96%.
i am currently studying geography 3/4 with hopes of getting a 48+ SS. how many marks can i lose on my sacs to get this score, and how well do i need to do on the exam?
additionally, my school’s geography cohort is relatively weak, does this benefit me since i am doing better than them on the sacs?
