Locked spirit springs

SpoilerDiscussion & Info

I found a trick for unlocking the spirit springs. Maybe everyone has figured it out and I'm just stating the obvious, but I hadn't seen it mentioned.

!Shackles work on them. Just use one near the locked spring and wherever the lock is, it will be shattered.!<

I know Kings is still relatively new, but what characters do people want to see in future expansions?

Personally I want to see Cirdan to round out the Elven leaders. Most of the other significant characters are also less directly powerful, such as Eomer and Eowen. Maybe a "heroes of middle earth" or "lieutenants of middle earth" for these folks. The design challenge would be to have them useful enough to be worth fielding but not too game changing since they shouldn't be on the same level as existing characters.

I'm also not sure how much is available for Shadow. Grima Wormtongue would be great. I'm not too familiar with the deep lore so I'm not sure how many named orcs and similar underli

Scrubland start

Advice Wanted

Out of curiosity, has anyone found a good opening approach when you are dominated by scrubland? As far as I can tell, there's nothing you can do with them for town adjacency and no way to squeeze production out. Hunting camps are cheap food, but pop is near meaningless if you can't build anything. Wild hunters are a decent NS but not good enough to make up for the slow start. I feel like I'm missing something.

Hey all. It seems we've all had some amount of difficulty with some of the game's ui/ux. I found one thing that can help. If you press alt then all of your tiles will display their yields. This can help hunt down specific improvements in the mid to late game. I found this by accident when setting my laptop down and it's been a real help.

Hey all. Elden Ring is my first soulslike and quickly became one of my all time favs. Like everyone else, I'm excited for the DLC. I have one question about it though and I'm hopeful that there's insight based on previous Fromsoft titles.

It's clear that the primary content (new areas, bosses, etc.) is end game or post game. I'm curious about the secondary content (new loot). Adding entirely new weapon types would usually be sprinkled into the primary game by a typical studio. But Fromsoft is not a typical studio. Plus Elden Ring is not exactly built for that by default since chests always have the same thing and enemies are very specific about what they can drop.

I ask because I'm curio

Hey all. I see a lot of artists showing their work here hoping to make connections and/or work for hire. I just wanted to share that Handelabra is looking for artists for their online implementation of Sentinels of Earth Prime.

I am not in any way affiliated with Handelabra, GtG, Green Robin, or anyone else involved in the project. I've just been getting their newsletter for awhile and saw that announcement this morning. Email says you can apply on their website.

Cheers.
