Half rant half seeking a little support. My boyfriend is 21, I’m 24, he wants kids and I definitely do not. The thought of pregnancy alone makes me feel physically ill, don’t even get me started on the life that follows AFTER. I can’t fucking imagine having a kid. I would get my uterus removed if I could, but I can’t, because according to medical professionals it’s my only redeeming quality.
I’ve told my bf I don’t want them. I do think other people’s kids are cute, but it’s just not what I want for my life. He doesn’t understand just how much MORE it takes away from the woman. In his universe he busts a nut and gets to play cool dad. I, on the other hand, lose my hair, body, my fucking as
Anybody know if any bars in town will be showing the Oscars tonight? Thanks!
I dated this dude for several years. The hyper-insecure, snooping, manipulative type. Location tracking app on my phone, read my private journals, etc. Needless to say we broke up a while ago. I lived in New York and am in the south west now, but there had been some "mysterious" pricey Uber charges to my Paypal...in NYC. I look at the Uber rides, and of course, it just so happens to be to and from the apartment of my ex's ex who loved to butt her head into our relationship over the course of those years together. I call him to get my friggin money, no response, so. I call his mom...yeah boy....he calls me. Gives me the whole OOPS DIDN'T MEAN TO! and refunds the charges, minus $3, because he'
I live in Santa Fe but have two separate things to do in Albuquerque in the same day, a doctor's appt at 9AM and picking someone up from the airport at 11PM. I really don't want to drive there and back twice in one day, but I have no idea how to kill that time. I mean, I have some ideas. I will probably sit in a coffee shop (suggestions?), visit the biopark, sleep in the airport for a bit towards the end of the night....but other than that...I am lost. Any suggestions would be grand! Thank you resident Redditors of Albuquerque.
I’m posting half because I’m proud and half because I feel like announcing it to the internet will motivate me in some way to keep going. I’ve been bulimic for ~5 years now, in the past year it’s gotten to the lock-myself-in-a-room-and-b/p all day for days on end point, I’m talking purging like 6-7 times per day EVERY SINGLE DAY. I’ve been trying to recover but I always fail miserably. Today was the first whole 24 hours in over a year where I haven’t and I’m really, really happy. I wish I could bottle this feeling and give it to every single person in this sub. That’s all internet. Thanks for listening.
