Hello,
Have you heard that both state and federal regulators have plans to place new requirements on managed service providers and system integrators?
Don’t you want your voice heard?
Then please join us at the next meeting of the National Society of IT Service Providers (NSITSP) on February 9th at Noon eastern time.
It is a long name, but an important mission. The NSITSP is a new organization dedicated to representing MSP’s and technology service providers before governing bodies at the state and national levels.

I have a client who needs an FTP server to receive some data and then needs that data moved to another network location on a daily basis. I have an FTP server and I can automate the process.. the data set is small … what do you think is a fair price to charge per month?

HI all,

I am buying a new MacBook Pro 2019 (16")and need to decide whether to get a 1TB or 2TB drive. I think 1TB should be enough space but 2TB would be nice as I do have some VM's I'd like to store so I can run them when I need them... I found some information about the 2TB being slower to store data... not sure if that's slow as in 2 nanoseconds slower i.e. not really notable :-)

Personal opinions sought...

Thanks

Hi guys,

This may or may not be a simple ask... but I have a map that a client developed in the esri dashboard and we want to show that map on a separate website... so I am looking for how to grab a token to enable the link to work... or to understand what would need to be done to expose the map in a separate website.

Thanks

Hi all,

I am moving all my several client's users to the Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses as they're the best bang for the buck (and I want to standardize)... however, some clients I take on have users with E3 licenses. This poses a problem as the E3 license allows for 100GB mail and 100GB (rolling) archives. The M365BP license allows for 50GB mail and 50GB (one-off) archives.

Some E3 users have smaller than 50GB mail plus smaller than 50GB archives, so switching them is no problem... you can guess what the problem is.... anyone have any thoughtful solutions?

Thanks in advance,

Andy

I have two customers who I have set up on O365 tenants...
Both clients are totally managed in AAD in MS Azure - as they were small and not on a local Domain but rather just using local IMAP email, we migrated them to a "Cloud-only" O365 tenant.
The problem now is that both my clients have new servers on-premise that have file shares, printer servers and web applications and all their users are in AAD.... there seems to be no way to give authenticated access to their AAD users for local resources.
See attached diagram...

Hi all,

I need to understand the underlying technology that Microsoft is using for their Common Data Store. Anyone have any idea as to where the data is stored and using what DB mechanism? It doesn't seem like SQL as it's more flexible that that, so to me it seems to be more like a NoSQL DB like Mongo, which I am sure MS aren't using...

Hi all,

I have some users who have E3 plus ADP1 licenses and they are reported in the Access Work and School as having two connections, one to AAD and the other to the MDM - is this correct?

https://preview.redd.it/ycl239l8sau31.png?width=755&format=png&auto=webp&s=3f4af634531fe3b6d218c15a8ad82a2c44efd8d9

I am trying to move these users to a comment M365 license which uses inTune and shows up like this (the AAD connection serves as the MDM (inTune) connection in this case):

Any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve this and have everyone conn

I have a client that are half M365 licenses and half E3 with AAD P1 licenses. I am switching all the E3/AADP! licenses to M365 at the client's request and the main difference I see is the mailbox size supported on M365 is only 50GB as opposed to that of E3 which is 100GB... any ideas as to what ahppes if I simply switch the license? Will the 100GB mailbox still function under a M365 license?

Any other foreseeable issues?

I have deleted some devices in AAD because the information was incorrect in how the user registered in the first place.

How do I issue a re-register request to a user and have them re-register with AAD?
