I'm at my whit's end.

After playing the game for some time (sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes 1+ hours), the game will raise disk usage to 100% (measured via task manager).

This results in impossible load times (as the connection will time out before managing to load into match), and I have to restart the game to fix it. Except I have to kill the process via task manager, otherwise it just keeps running (and putting my SSD at 100% load).

I have tried putting it onto another SSD (via Steam transfer option) and verifying the Steam files. Currently completely redowloading the game. I do not have World Tour installed.

SF6 is the ONLY game this happens with. My SSDs are of different

As per the title, how viable is playing true offline mode in the long run?

Googling has told me that I only miss out on chat, co-op and trading. I'm certainly ok with the first two.

The question is - how bad is the rng for playing effectively ssf?

Would I have to play the game as a second job to get bis (or near-bis) gear for my build? Or is it somewhat reasonable?

Also, how are the cycles handled in true offline? Theoretically it would make sense for me to stay in one way past it's official end date, no?

I'm primarily looking at true offline because, despite having 40 ms to server, I'm getting quite a bit of rubber banding and slow loading times.

As per the title. I originally quit retail in wotlk and didn't get any heirlooms.
But now when I open up the panel, there's an almost sickening amount of options.
But I haven't been able to quite figure out how to get them all.
Some seem to be drops? Some from guild reputation?
Can someone point me in the direction of an (ideally) centralised resource on how to get them all?

As a side note, is it possible to get them all solo (maybe using a personal guild if I must)?

As per the title, I am looking for what Profiler options exist on windows. My provisional use-case is hobby gamedev (with a wishful focus on simulations).
Prior profiler experience is with the the Unity built-in profiler, which I found quite enjoyable to use, and it did enable me to fix performance issues (granted, I was simply doing obviously dumb things in hindsight, but that's a separate issue).

Slightly more detailed explanation:
I am using Clion. I did try VisualStudio, but Clion just felt subjectively "better" (this is not an assessment of functionality or feature differences, as I am too inexperienced to evaluate that in any noteworthy capacity. I simply ended up somew

So I just reinstalled windows.

I have 3 SSDs total, so I obviously only reinstalled the system one. FFXIV was saved on another drive, and remained unchanged.

Windows was not upgraded, no hardware changed. Made sure to retain the same drive letters.

How the hell can I launch the game now? None of the ffxiv_dx11.exe (base or dx11) do shit, except telling me in Japanese to use the ffxivboot.exe.

But the ffxivboot.exe gives something that looks nothing like the launcher I used literally 3 days ago, AND it requires I enter a key.

As a currently still F2P player, I obviously have no key, and I've been playing just fine for several months (expo launch aside).

Is there some w

I originally quit back at the end of WotLK before cross-realm pve became a thing, so now I'm confused.

I'm looking at raider.io and the indicated population on my current (old) realm - Ravenholdt-EU.

First of all, it's grouped with a bunch of other servers (RP), and also shown to be "Low population". Whereas the in-game server browser shows it as "high population".

But then I look at other servers, who do not seem to be grouped with others.

What's the deal with that (the grouping)? Where RP servers so dead that Blizz pseudo-merged them at the time?

And why is raider.io data so different from in-game browser? Is it just a matter of which realm has more sweaty

So, as you can probably guess from the title, I have decided to main priest for arena in TBC.

Now the problem I face is availability of proper and reliable information.

Could somebody point me in the direction of a proper in-depth breakdown of everything about priest pvp (or at least as much as possible). I care about both Disc and Spriest.

Googling gives me either questionable results (like putting 49 into disc for arena), or very old (like 2008) results, and I have my doubts on both.

Information I am particularly interested in - talent builds and detailed talent breakdown (in terms of their situational usability).
E.g. - the importance of Pain suppression vs Silence in 2

I've tried googling, but failed to find and answer.

So the steam version obviously has achievement.
The Epic store is generally wack in terms of achievement, though some games have them. DE does not appear to be one of them.

I really love having some sort "official" achievement tracking.
Does the game have some sort of internal, in-game listing of achievements that is platform independent, or am I stuck with Steam if I want that?

I'm asking because with the coupon it's 14 EUR, whereas on Steam I don't expect it to go below 26 or so when xmas sales hit.

As per the title, I'm getting an odd issue:

I always set the game to run in 1080p windowed, yet it doesn't seem to save these settings between PC restarts.

I've been forced to redo the online benchmark as well a few times, even though the last time I changed any hardware was a dead gpu 2 years ago.

Playing on the windows store version.

I thought the game might be having issues saving settings, so I tried to run as admin, but it doesn't seem to offer that option for windows store apps (at least not in any normal way).

Anyone had a similar issue?

I do not fully understand the differences between the two.

I'm currently playing the free-week trial, and am looking to pick up just the Elsweyr edition, which as I understand, should give me access to all expansions/content out so far.

Does that mean that I would be able to play all the content that is listed in the crown store under their respective categories (and also progression bonuses, whatever that means (are these just XP boosts?), as listed on the ESO+ website)?

I'm looking to play this somewhat casually and I try to stay away from subscription models as much as possible these for everything.

What content will I be missing if I buy this version (https://www.fanat

Which would you recommend?

I do enjoy Rising (though I'm not that good, I just sort of reached hard tracks), but was wondering if Fusion is "worth it". I kind of like the futuristic aesthetic it has from what I've seen.

PS. This is not meant as "should I drop Rising for Fusion".

EDIT: Went with Fusion for now. Liking it so far.

As stated in the title, I feel like I'm missing something.

Using odachi, if that matters.

So, in skill customization (from low stance) I've set "X at end of combo" to be Sunset Breeze: Man, which should leave me in mid stance.

But it just doesn't happen. On the other hand "Y at end of combo" comes out just fine (and leaves me in high stance as I would expect from the skill.

The same thing happens for any other transitions I set up to work with light attack.

What am I doing wrong/missing?
