Does anyone have like a recruitment-style PDF of the positives of remote work? I’d like to just accidentally drop 1 or 2 in the kitchen at my workplace. 😁

Since my other post got nuked… making it more general.
If for example, I want my daughter to work on school stuff so I pause her tablet/phone and allow her school laptop. But printing from Windows (in my house anyways) is a pain. So we usually print from iOS devices instead. Would her tablet/phone still be able to print? Or does pausing the profile attempt to just halt all traffic?
So I plan to switch from Ring 2 Pro to G410. I have a wire there at the doorbell. So do the batteries need to be rechargeable? Or can one use alkaline batteries?
If I assign their TV to a profile and pause that profile… would that essentially block the TV from getting to the Internet but allow for local LAN connections?
Friday I switched ISPs. The new ISP gave me a 7 Pro Max to be the gateway. So I used the Erro app to swap out the current 7 Pro gateway for the new 7 Pro Max. Now it seems the “Online Devices” is stuck at 55 and the “Offline Devices” is stuck at 50. For example we watched an entire episode of Project Runway and the Apple TV we were using appeared in the “offline” list while we were using it. Anyone ever seen this?
Hello,
(Tried to see if there was a mega support thread but didn’t see anything resembling)
I am new to HA. Have been watching videos. I thought I had seen someone expose their devices to HomeKit via bridge and use a label as the filter for what to expose. Have attempted this like 20 times it feels like. Today I finally see that I would need to edit the YAML in order to do this. (?). But I also read that if a bridge was created via the UI, then I shouldn’t go editing the YAML as it would create another bridge. So I am a bit confused and wondering if both are true?
Thanks!
My daughter is moving into an apartment. I have an extra Ecobee thermostat laying around (I thought my Nest one was dying .. bought off eBay.. forgot it was sitting in my garage). I was wondering if it is normal/common to install a smart thermostat In apartments?
Anyone use an Ecobee Therostat in an apartment?
My daughter is moving out from dorms and I was wondering if it is common to install a thermostat temporarily?
Curious if the update breaks anything?
You may have seen my previous post about Fox 26 in Houston removing DRM from their 3.0 broadcast. That left only KHOU and Telemundo (who are owned by the same ppl IIRC) and I noticed today I was able to get the Arsenal vs West Ham game on the 3.0 channel on Telemundo.. so I went to Rabbit Ears and it also is showing the same… no more DRM in Houston.

Hi all,
SSRS 2019.. reports are lightening quick for everyone, except for one single AD Group which just happens to be the DEVs. (So they complain). We are using a service account… the service account has SPN registered.. for the local FQDN.. we access the server via CNAME which is not registered though..
Also when trying to resolve this issue.. looking into rsreportserver.config The VIRTUALDIRECTORY (reports) seems to point to a different account (NT Service\SQLServerReportingServices) than the one used for the service (a domain account).
With types are:
Negotiate
Kerberos
NTLM
Using REPORTSERVER.. vs the Report Portal… REPORTServer shows the report faster than the report port
I recently changed my plan to have 2Gbps service… but none of the Xfinity routers seem to have 2.5 Gbps Ethernet.. are there any Xfinity routers which have 2.5 GBPs Ethernet ports on them? Currently I have the XB8-T.. I saw the XB10 still had “4 Gigabit ports”… which router do I need to get 2.5 Gbps ports?
In ASP.Net, I recall one could build a resource file and it would contain pairs and a value like :
- English / Gratitude -Thank You
- Dutch / Gratitude - Danke
- Spanish / Gratitude - Gracias
And ASP.Net would just pull the text/phrase which matches the language + phrase based on the browser language setting (I simplified the language.. I think English there was “en-US” and “en-GB”…etc to match the browser). Literally to add a new language, one just had to add it to the resource file and publish the file to the site. Done. No code changes.
My question is there something like this for PHP? My boss is proposing we make our PTO app available in Spanish and I hope I don’t have to c
