Hi all - wife and I have been working on hammering down debt and building savings this year, but have recently been presented with the opportunity to purchase a vehicle from a relative for $20-25k at no interest if we want to do it in installments.

It's a RAV4 that only has 3,000 miles on it, and is a couple of years old. Right now, vehicle 1 for us is a van that we are trying to pay off quickly (probably 2 years away from paying it off), and we have a beater 2nd vehicle that honestly might die any day, but is currently fine to drive to and from work in town.

I'm torn with the situation, because buying another new vehicle will take $200-$400/month that we could be funneling into savings or

We had some old metal covered edging replaced with a textural concrete and old tile scraped off with new tile put back on. Our pump had to be off for about 12 days from the work (I can't manipulate my skimmers, so I can't run my pump once the water is below their level). I threw some shock in halfway through the process to try to keep algae from growing.

Long story short, after I got the pump running and the water cleared up, there were some of these dark spots in my shallow end that I haven't been able to brush off with my metal brush. There are a few metal spots, with I can spot clean, but I was looking if anybody else had dealt with this sort of look and if they were able to remove it

I was just thinking about this today in McCarthy & LaFleur’s 2nd years ever as head coach:

  • Go 13-3

  • Beat NFC West team after bye in the playoffs (1 year off from it being the Seahawks again here)

  • Lose NFC Championship game in Lambeau to eventual champs

  • QB has resurgent season after down seasons for respective QB (Favre came back to form after a few terrible seasons; obviously Rodgers with MVP)

  • QB drama going into HC’s 3rd season about whether starting QB will be back or not (hopefully not traded like the 1st time)

  • Possible QB heir currently serving as backup after being drafted 1st round

  • Gute & TT also heading into year 4 as GM

Anybody think of anything else? Pre

My wife and I have 2 scenarios with the ability to pay off some debt:

Debt:

CC1: $3,800 balance @ 0% for the next 16 months ($60/month payment)

CC2: $4,100 balance @ 0% until next month ($70/month payment)

Personal loan: $8,900 @ 6.99% ($225/month payment)

We have enough saved up to pay off either the personal loan, or both credit cards.

My wife wants to pay off the credit cards because mentally it would be very liberating (I don't disagree), but I'm lobbying to pay off the personal loan because it is carrying interest ($60 in interest last month!), and would put $225/month back in our pockets instead of the $130 combined from the CCs. We are also moving states during the summer, and t

Last night, my friend brought over his One S to have a mini LAN party (both on wifi). His XBOX had serious lag issues where his latency was over 250ms and really couldn't play anything.

Went through Microsoft's help section, which had a lot of great ideas (other sites did too), but none ultimately worked. We even tried running his system only wondering if it was just too much bandwidth for my household to handle, but same thing. Even tried switching console positions in case there was interference, but my XBOX worked fine all night!

Any suggestions from this great community?

2016: “This isn’t Blink/good without Tom, I don’t like the direction they’re going - their old stuff is better”

2011: “This is sub par for Blink, I don’t like the direction they’re going - their old stuff is better”

2003: “What the hell is this? I don’t like the direction they’re going - their old stuff is better”

2001: “This is more of the same, their old stuff is better”

1999: “Blink has sold out/gone mainstream, I don’t like the direction they’re going - their old stuff is better”

It seems that no matter what Blink has done since the mid 90’s people have been vocal about their distaste for that album until time passes by and that album is largely appreciated. Makes me wonder if peopl

His range and tone sound so different in each of the deluxe extras. One of the intros I had thought they had gotten a guest to sing, but it was Skibba singing really low. His energy has an emotional charge to it that can really grip you to the lyrics.

...it's remarkable how much more definition you can hear compared to the CD/digital. I bought the CD in '04 when it came out and am currently listening to the vinyl for the first time right now. There are so many more elements to the songs that I've never heard before.

I had heard people say that about this vinyl, so I was anticipating a difference, but keeping my expectations low - nope!

Just watched American Pie 2 for the umpteenth time. What a phenomenal soundtrack that movie has, what movies are better or are comparable for music?
