I have a fun problem for the mechanically inclined, and I hope you agree!

I have a 2022 RAV4 Prime, which is a plug-in hybrid. The previous owner put kind of crappy tires on it, they don't get the best grip or fuel economy, and I don't believe they have been balanced very well. But instead of just swapping out the tires, since I think large rims are an unfortunate automotive fad and in reality detract from ride comfort, fuel economy, and cost of tires to the end user. I am looking at swapping my rims and tires completely.

Through my researching I have discovered that there's basically only one wheel on the market that is developed with fuel economy in mind: the Fastco EV series of tire. I

I'm curious if anyone else has successfully tried this.

I am purchasing some new equipment for my medical exercise facility and I think it would be pretty amazing to use a voltra as the weight stack for an existing functional trainer rack.

I could go quick and dirty and remove the vertical inline supports for the weight stack and mount the Voltra on the bottom rail, but I would much prefer to keep the weight stack and have the Voltra mounted more at chest or waist level and route the cable through a pulley that is attached to the bottom of the rack. This will help to protect the vulture from dropped equipment as well as make it very easy fast and convenient to adjust the settings. I could

I own a medical exercise clinic and I'm looking to upgrade my equipment. I really like the idea of getting a rack based functional trainer and replacing the weight stacks with electronic weight that is programmable for eccentric loading and the like. One thing that has huge potential here is for deltoid exercises - where you can resist a lot when the muscle is lengthened but as it contracts the resistance just piles on more than necessary. Would it be possible to program a Voltra to do something like a reverse-resistance band that starts at 20# and ends at 10#, then adds eccentric load? This would be a total game changer for my business. Thanks for your replies!

I'm buying a R4P next week and I am in love with the idea of using the big battery and 1500W power plug to run a campsite, but being able to trickle charge the battery with a solar roof has always been a weird omission from my perspective. Has anyone here been in the same position and figured out a solution?

Since the Honda hybrid system doesn't use a reduction gear transmission, and going downhill will fill the battery pretty quickly, how does the car regulate its downhill speed after the battery is full, since using friction brakes would lead to fluid overheating and brake fade?
