I currently pay $70/month for Gigabit internet, and have been paying that for 13 months now. However, this past bill, I was only charged $56. I just checked my speeds and everything is the same as it was, so the plan wasn't accidentally decreased. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about a $14 reduction, and I'm pretty confident it'll go back to $70 again next month, but why did this happen?
I've scoured my billing history and account details and can't find anything that might cause this.
I haven't been able to go to the emerald dream since the first time I went to do the quest chain. The portal in Shady Sanctuary just says "dormant" now, and the portal in Valdraken has never showed up for me. I'm pretty sure I've done all the quests to get the Valdraken portal open, I have received the dragonflight mount that all the guides online say you have to get in order to get the Valdraken portal.
I am currently in the process of trading in my vehicle and buying a new one from the dealership. The dealership is located in Maryland, my address is located in Virginia. The car is titled in Alabama, in my mother's name, and we are trying to get a power of attorney form filled out so that I can transfer the title to the dealership without my mother being present. I would request a new title in my name, but Alabama is saying that could take up to 6 weeks. So, which state's DMV PoA form would I fill out for the transaction? I've read both "the state the sale is made in" and "the state the car is currently titled in" so I'm a little confused.
I have been using the Corsair scimitar elite for at least seven years, currently on my second one. However after a few years the number pad on this is starting to not register clicks. That, along with Corsair's severe inability to properly make a scroll wheel (an ongoing problem for years, both on my mouse and the volume on my headset) I am looking for an alternative.
No real limit on budget, within reason, and it needs to have configurable side buttons. Also preferably something that has rgb.
All suggestions appreciated.
Obligatory "posting for a friend" because this has been stumping us for close to two months now.
My friend recently built his first PC, and can't launch almost any games on it. The only game I know works is Terraria, but he's atleast tried Rust and MW2 as well. Both games end up crashing his pc when trying to load in, without a warning message. He used to get a Windows error saying he was missing:
| Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022
However a reset of Windows seems to have fixed that. Now, instead of failing to launch games, the entire pc crashes instead.
Any help is appreciated

In late September of last year, I fully pulled my ACL off the bone in my left knee, tore both miniscus (minisci? Miniscuses?), and nearly dislocated several things in my leg. Had surgery in early December, using a patellar graft. PT until mid March, now I'm back in the gym slowly regaining muscle mass. Very typical recovery.
I didn't realize when it first happened how soon the injury would come to haunt me. I recently graduated college, yet my field is incredibly physically demanding. And while I'm able to do almost anything again now (currently running 2 miles max but could probably push for more, and I've starting jumping rope again) any job in my field will require tests that work your
Hello everyone.
I have had 2 gerbils for 13 months, and they were about 2 months old or so when I got them. They are sisters, from a litter of atleast 4.
For the past week or so, I have noticed my gerbils not quite getting along with each other. It started more or less with what I've gotten used to them doing over the past year. They both like to sit in the food bowl and dig around for goodies, and then if one of them finds something particularly tasty the other will try to grab it. Usually, it's very light and playful, and the loser just goes back to eating something else. These "fights" were never violent, and would only be for a few seconds (followed by sad squeeks from whoever lost t
Even with a full time job (or in my case, full time University student) I still feel like I have a ton of free time. And for the past few months I've almost constantly felt that I'm just... wasting my time when I'm at home. I want a project that I can spend a good deal of time on, over a long-ish period, that I can be proud of and feel accomplished after I finish it. So my question to all of you is what you like to do to fill your time? What makes you feel accomplished?
