Not sure whether Sideshow didn't post himself or whether his submission is trapped in the mod queue. In any case, the details are sort of bizarre...

Hunni told over.gg that the reason for his dismissal was a rash decision made in frustration that got out of hand. His team failed to show up for planned weekly Razer Arena tournaments and Hunni angrily left the team discord in an “over-reaction”.

He claims he apologised the day afterward but was ignored by the team for four days until the manager was back to deal with the issue. The manager reportedly let Hunni back into the team discord but Hunni upon rejoining was immediat

This has been going around some of the Puppy-affiliated blogs. Del Arroz may have made a post on his own site at the time, but his fullest recent explanation is a guest post at Vox Day's:

Trump won. I made a few posts as to how I was happy with the outcome of the election, complete with donning my red hat. What happened next? I received a nasty letter from my editor’s assistant about how intolerant and inflexible I was, telling me that I was not likely to be invited to be published again. SJWs weren’t just attacking someone I knew on the periphery. They’d come for me. I decided the best course of action would be t

So the Chromebook Plus that many of us got today charges over USB-C with a cord-attached 15V/2A or 9V/3A (not sure which it actually uses) mini-brick.

Has anyone tried it out with other chargers, either single or all-in-one? Thinking of replacing my desktop all-in-one with this:

This is honestly a major embarrassment. Playing on laptops with 60hz screens running at 90fps? No sound isolation? Can't get their act together to start the tournament on the day of?

edit 2 - ah, I missed Midnight's explanation in a previous thread:

Alternate stream (from the twitch chat), since twitch is being janky as hell: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgQq3ZOUjXA

edit - both streams crapped out near the start of elim rounds, so guess we can maybe watch VoDs tomorrow if we're lucky

For those not watching the Monthly Melee, ZP just noted that Kryw will not be playing for Misfits tonight and it will be Cooller in his place. Whether this is a one-off or something permanent, a lot of turnover is going down.

Rogue Flash Lux

BK Stars NRG

(VoD)

The first match was as one-sided a stomp as you could imagine, with Rogue playing a troll comp on Kings Row attack. But holy crap did NRG look hopeless in the second. Clockwork particularly seemed 100% at sea, and Seagull was actually outdone by his projectile counterpart on BK Stars.

edit - Monte and DoA noted before the start that there will be matches tomorrow as well as the usual Wednesday, with the elimination brackets drawn Wednesday and the matches starting Friday.
