does anyone have the syllabus for this class? I was an exchange student last year, and want to transfer the credit for this class to my home university. However, I can no longer access my NUS email or canvas so I can't see the syllabus. I emailed the prof but no response yet. If anyone has this syllabus (from any semester) I would appreciate it SO MUCH if you could send it my way! Or if anyone knows where I can access it (it's not on NUSMods) then this would be amazing as well. Thanks!

Is anyone also having issues logging into the Economist through berkeley? In the past I'd just go on it on the browser and it worked fine, but now when I try to log in i get the error "Authentication failure; No valid targetedID released by the IdP"

Hi I am looking to get some extra money and I know this is a pretty common hustle. I was wondering though has anyone run into issues with fees associated with closing accounts early? And would this limit my ability to open checking accounts in the future? I don't have that much money right now lol, so I dont know if I could sustain the minimum balance to avoid monthly fees across several accounts.

Hello, I will be studying abroad at NUS for spring 2024. I am trying to confirm which courses I want to take, and I have the option of selecting between MA4229 and CS4243 alongside some other courses. I've looked through the reviews on NUSMods but was wondering if anyone had comparative insights into these two classes in particular. I would like to do something not extremely difficult because it will be my study abroad semester, but also hopefully an interesting/useful class. Any insights would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

i use the headphones with both my laptop and my phone, but sometimes (every time) when they were connected to my computer but then i’m selecting them from my phone, they won’t connect to my phone. this gets quite annoying because often my computer is already closed and in my backpack so i can’t easily just turn off the bluetooth on my computer. they refuse to connect to my phone in this case. i’ve never had this issue with any other bluetooth device so i was wondering am i doing something wrong or is this a bug? thanks.

How is it to AI for both these classes in the same semester? Is it recommended to just do one? Does anyone have experiences with this. I've never AI'ed before but I just applied for both and i'm not sure where to go from here.Thank you :)

I got selected for the clipper baypass pilot program, and in the email it said there’s no further action on our part and it will be applied by august 26. but when i tried to use bart today it still had me pay. Does anyone know how to use it and if it works? Thank you so much !

I had a substantial amount of gift aid on calcentral, but i got an email saying there were revisions and now it’s gone. Why would they grant aid and then revoke it? is this common, and is there any way i could get it back? it would greatly help my family :(

If I took a few classes for a potential major/minor but then ended up changing my mind, is there a way to look up a class and see the majors/minors for which it fulfills the prereqs? as opposed to looking up a major and scrolling through the list of prereqs. I don't want to feel like I "wasted classes" if I end up not pursuing something. thanksss :')

hey yall, I have a midterm tomorrow but I still have a few content questions:

If Null(A^T) has orthogonal columns, is Col(a)^perp also orthogonal? So, if I do Gram-schmidt to find an orthogonal basis in Null(A^T), will it still be orthogonal in Col(A)^perp and vice versa?

Does doing the calculation for a basis of the Null Space (putting the vector in terms of free variables) always result in an orthogonal basis if dim(Nul) > 1 ?

Can an identity matrix be a non-square matrix? for example an mxn matrix where m =/= n. Or is it not because it's not invertible?
