GNOME is raising funds to fight a patent troll and invalidate their patent
gnome.org/news/2019/10/gnome-files-defense-ag...I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I'm here to discuss the game, not be flooded with cellphone pictures of a circle you happened to find someplace near a line. These always get a bunch of upvotes, so maybe the answer to my request is just "no," but I thought I'd at least ask.
Got my first pair of raws back from the tailor this week and damn near broke my thumb trying to jam the buttons through the holes. They've loosened up over the course of the week, but I'm still not looking forward to fiddling around with my crotch that much next time I'm at a urinal.
I don't really see the appeal, but folks around here seem to have a preference for them. So tell me what I'm missing. Do you like button flys? If so, why?
Hey kids who fell asleep in school! Plural words in English don't need an apostrophe before the S. If you want to say someone bought two Vives, you write "this guy bought two Vives". No apostrophe!
Please, be considerate and avoid apostrophe abuse. http://blog.grantham.edu/blog/bid/115809/Apostrophe-Abuse-This-National-Epidemic-Must-Be-Stopped
I plan to show the Vive off to many friends after it arrives. Since some folks here have been demoing the Pre for a while, I thought it would be a good idea to ask for tips for demoing it to VR newbies and even non-gamers. For example, what kind of experiences do you start with? Any suggestions for group activities? How did you set up the environment? Is there any concern for safety of the demoee, the demoer, or the hardware? Have you ever had anyone freak out? How did you handle it? Do you keep a bucket nearby for motion sickness?
I'm super interested in the Vive, but I'm worried about their support for SteamOS and Linux. I use Linux exclusively, and while Valve has at least paid lip service to supporting SteamOS, I'm worried about whether they will actually give it real support. Anyone with a Pre tried it out? Any public statements of support from HTC or Valve?
It no longer says "FEZ", it just has some black lines and white dots? Is anyone else seeing this? Here's the raw image: https://d.thumbs.redditmedia.com/i2C5w1pSi4tbNKCi.png
