When I was younger I had started to invest in individual stock via Sharebuilder. I have what I feel is a diverse portfolio but looking at it I am unsure of long term aspects.

I have about $7,000 in stock / etf that has been on average gaining value. Some I would probably feel like dropping due to poor performance.

Any way to easily transfer some of these good performing stocks to IRA without selling and rebuying? I know people have mentioned Vanguard for IRA. I almost rather go with someone else other than Sharebuilder for the IRA though I am unsure the benefit of staying with them. Capital One is not really a benefit in my opinion.

Breakdown: 87% Stock 13% ETF No mutual funds.
