I am looking to replace my video card in my rather old rig, my GTX 770 died earlier today.

I am looking for something equivalent to this in a similar generation using PCIe 3.0 interface. Budget is around $40-50, depending on the hardware for sale.

If you have anything available let me know and I'll make an offer. I can travel for pick-up in person, and if we can arrange for a demonstration to make sure the card functions this would be appreciated. I can bring a rig to put it in if necessary.

I live in Durham region but would be willing to travel a fair distance if required.

Thank you!

I am having issues with my mother's vehicle, a 2016 Passat with 1.8L engine. It's got 177k km on it (just over ~100k mi) and has been having issues with a persistent oil leak since sometime in the spring last year.

The engine was stuttering and stalling, and dealership determined that there was an issue with cam position sensor that had caused damage and needed to have camshaft replaced under warranty. The service took some time while parts were on backorder, eventually it was completed but ever since there's been a slight oil leak. Oil level sensor would throw up a warning and it would be at the bottom of the dipstick around every month and a half or so. Just recently over the past few wee

I'm looking to buy a new mobo for my PC that has more PWM fan adapters. I cheaped out and went with some garbage ASRock entry level and now I've got some cooling issues and the fans I've purchased to hopefully make this thing not sound like a dying winter beater aren't really compatible.

Let me know what you've got to offer and we can work out payment.

Also willing to look into AIO cooling or other options if anyone's got some of those laying around.

This is a follow up to my previous thread describing an issue with Firefox since updating to v44.0

https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/42zczs/just_updated_to_440_now_cannot_load_anything_in/

So basically I'm still experiencing the same issue as some of the other people in that thread. The problem persists for me after reinstall once I have closed the window. I basically need to uninstall and reinstall Firefox every time I completely close the program and go to open it again, or it simply refuses to load any pages whatsoever.

I would be more than willing to offer any further details or information if it would mean that someone could possibly help point me towards a solution to this i

So I've just updated to version 44.0, and like the title says I am unable to browse whatsoever anymore. Dunno whats going on here, maybe someone can help?

It was slightly strange at first how Firefox displayed a popup telling me that 44.0 was ready for install rather than automatically updating it as I have those settings enabled. Anyway, I clicked to update, and Firefox closed itself and just kind of hung there. Didn't launch any kind of update/progress window, and wouldn't launch itself again.

I waited through about 10 minutes of this before finally deciding that it wasn't going anywhere and decided I had to do something about it. Rather than forcing the process to end in task manager, I

I'm not too sure if there is a better subreddit for a post like this, and unfortunately I'm on mobile so I can't even really check for a more relevant sub, but I digress.

I've been trying to put together a modest build for about 2 months now, but have been using my old POS system that I've known has been dying for ages.

I've known that the 150gig HD I've had was dying and put up with it. Eventually, it wouldn't be recognized at all by the mobo, and it was shot. I've had another 320 sitting around I got from a friend that wasn't new, but was never really used much. Long story short, data ended up getting corrupted on this HD (which never happened on the first. It only stuttered like mad and

So I am assembling a new build that has been a long time in the works. About a month now, I've been trying to get this thing together, and its been one headache after another.

Long story short, 3rd motherboard in, and finally I've got it to POST normally. I'm using a Gigabyte Z77-DS3H with my i5 3570k, and for some reason the BIOS would not let me load it without a boot drive set up. So I'm thinking that's weird, but whatever. I threw my old HDD on the motherboard and tried again, it worked just fine.

For kicks and giggles, I decided to let windows load and to my surprise, there is no issue at all. It loads without a hitch and I'm ecstatic to finally have a set up that actually works and e
