It was done with black spray paint but I hesitate to blame taggers because they've left that mural unmolested for years. I mean, it's a not a HUGE deal, but it was a nice little thing that the tourists would always stop at, spread their arms and get a picture of themselves looking like.... (well, I don't know what it looks like- just that they had wings).
Whoever did that- you're a twat.
Like, you decide you want a Dapple Bay Tennessee Walker (or whatever). You see it everywhere, thinks it's a pretty horse. Then when you decide, 'OK, I'm going to grab one of those and ride it for a while.'
Then it's like... that's the last time you'll see that horse for ages.
Paints, Mustangs and Hungarians seem especially prone to this...
Title pretty much says it.
Got this Street View Link to a spot near the lake there.
I'm wanting to describe the type of trees a person might see walking through the woods there, but I don't have a clue to be perfectly honest.
I thought to use just pine trees, but looking at this picture, I don't see so many of those.
Anybody who can help out, I sure woul
I'm asking this for research on a story I'm writing.
Some background, I am a US citizen but live in Scotland. It's been 30 years since I've been in the US, so I have no clue here. When I lived in the US, it was still common to find that every convenience store you went in had Donkey Kong or something in the back of the shop to fleece the local kids of their quarters.
When I was even a little younger, most of those same convenience shops had pinball machines instead.
So, is that even a thing any more? Are there still video games in convenience stores in your great state?
Any and all replies would be greatly helpful to my project!
Thank y'all in advance!
Hey y'all. Georgia native but living in Scotland now.
I have written a novel and am fact checking it.
The opening scene takes place at departures in Hartsfield. Girl saying good-bye to her father before he takes a long flight to China (that detail might be important with all the terminals).
As the scene is written now, they have spent time in a Starbucks that is before TSA security, watching the departures board. It's not a terribly big deal, but just for accuracy, is there actually a Starbucks situated in such a position?
If not, do any of y'all who have been in that part of the airport have a recommendation where a father, his sister and the daughter/niece might wait as long as possi
So, just a bit of serendipity (or is it synchronicity?). I was watching episode 2 of this series this morning before I was going to jump back into the game and then towards the conclusion of the episode, they have Willy's Cruel, Cruel World playing. It's a bit bizarre as the series is set on Ibiza and the music is mostly to do with the rave/ecstasy scene.
But it put a smile on my face, that's for sure ;-)
This is my 4th playthrough of the game. With the controller I have, when enemy is nearby or I'm being attacked, it has lights that will blink.
Usually this goes away after the danger leaves the area. But sometimes it won't go away. In those cases, saving and reloading fixes it.
But this time, I've switched the PS4 off 3 times and rebooted and it's still bloody blinking.
It's really annoying if I'm playing in the dark. Has this happened to anyone else? How did you fix it?
