Been playing for about a year and a half now, and I've accumulated a bunch of probably noob questions I was hoping some could be answered

  1. What makes a draw so much more desirable than a fade? Are there just typically more hazards on the right side or something?

  2. If say you swing very consistently 6 degrees in to out, why is it bad to just aim 6 degrees left to compensate for that?

  3. Is there some kind of guide for how far you should hit a ball based on which club/loft/swing speed etc.. if you're hittinng it properly?

  4. Are you supposed to deloft game improvement irons the same as you would blades and such, or does wonky stuff happen when you do that with already jacked lofts?

As the title says, what is its purpose? Yes, I understand that it makes you hit further, and is generally something you want to do, but what makes it so different from hitting irons with jacked lofts, which most people seem to look down upon? Wouldn't delivering a 30 degree iron with 0 delofting do pretty much the same thing as delivering a 40 degree iron while delofting 10 degrees?

I have a Dell 7559 with windows 10

The m2 ssd started having problems a couple weeks ago, so I bought a new SATA ssd, reinstalled windows on that, and moved the files I needed over. Stupid me didn't really pay attention to the fact that when starting up, it goes to a boot menu where I have to choose between different windows installations, since it defaulted to the new installation, even if it still listed the old one.

Now it seems the old m2. ssd has died, and everything stopped working. After some research, I've learned that newer computers use UEFI, which requires a special boot partition to start up, which I'm guessing was on the old dieing, now dead, m2. ssd.

I thought that maybe s

Does anyone know where I can find fresh cut jamon iberico de bellota in socal? I used to buy from Surfas, but they recently closed down. I know la espanola meats has it, but only the pre cut vacuum packed kind, and I would prefer to have it cut to order.

From what I can tell main differences are

i5 6300HQ vs i7 6700 HQ

gtx 960m vs gtx 970m

ddr3l vs ddr4 ram

Not sure if there is a difference between the dell screen and the FHD IPS screen from sager

The computer would be used mainly for gaming and some light stuff in matlab/R. How much of a difference would there be between the two running games? Like being able to run newer games with stable fps at med vs high, low vs high, unable to run vs low, etc...? Trying to decide whether it's worth paying

Has anyone tried flipping a roasting pan upside down and using that as a baking steel? Though not as heavy as an actual baking steel and smaller, I was wondering if using my all clad would be better than nothing, or if the cavity under it would somehow make it worse than having nothing.

I rub the skin with salt and a little baking powder the night before, roast at 300 for a couple hours, then at 500 for about 20 minutes. The meat and fat come out nicely, but the skin is more tough rather than crispy. What can I do differently to make it crispier?

I've recently tried a couple games of amumu jungle, and 2 of the 3 games my teammates wouldn't help leash blue/watch red. Both times, the enemy team was smart enough to steal the red before I even got to that half of the jungle, putting me behind the whole game. I still try to proceed with clearing camps and ganking, but the missing buff/gold/xp just kind of compounds the rest of the game, making me super weak.

How do you prevent this from happening, and how best to proceed when it does?

Typically adding acidity would make something lighter, but sometimes I don't want to add acidity to a dish, and am not sure what else can be done.

Two specific dishes I'm thinking of making soon - Porchetta (pork belly, lots of garlic + random other spices, slow roasted for a couple of hours) and chicken soy sauce (chicken, onion, carrot, garlic, ginger, chinese five spice, star anise, sugar, simmered in watered down soy sauce). Any suggestions for how to make these lighter?

Is there something I can do to extract the flavor from morels into a risotto? I have some dried morels, they have a really strong distinct smell, but once cooked that seems to all disappear and they become kind of tasteless.

What I tried was rehydrating the morels, then baking half of them in the oven with olive oil/salt, and cooking the other half in the risotto. I've tried making the risotto at first with pancetta, but the risotto would just taste like pancetta, so I tried making it with just the morels and chicken broth, and it ended up just tasting like the chicken broth. Even if I eat a piece of the morel directly, there doesn't seem to be much taste. Is this just the way they are, or
