I really want this jacket, but there are no stores with it in stock that ship to the US. It is available on some websites that don't, such as this UK shop. I was wondering if it's possible to buy it online and ship it through a package forwarding service to the US. Does anyone have experience doing this?

I know everyone is just sharing their excitement for Tesla but I feel like this sub is getting spammed with pictures of vanity plates and other fairly un-notable pictures of the cars. The signal-to-noise ratio here is getting pretty bad, and I think we could use a little tightening up of the rules. What do you all think?

I'm moving to Los Angeles soon and am planning to continue working on a transfer degree in computer science. I'm probably going to be living in Echo Park or Hollywood so it seems like LACC would be the best choice for me. However, none of my friends in LA know anything about the school and I couldn't find much information searching Reddit so I was hoping some of you guys could give me an idea of what I'm in for.

In an app with multiple windows open, I'm used to using command-tilde to switch between open windows. I actually like the fullscreen app functionality introduced in Lion, but it appears to be useless when dealing with multiple window apps. For some reason command-tilde doesn't work, and there is no replacement to that functionality. Do power users just not use fullscreen apps?

I'm not even a really big fan of his band, but I ran into this short clip from an interview with James Murphy and it was really inspiring to me. I was often told that I'm smart and creative from an early age, but I've always been terrible at working hard and executing on anything. I feel too old to be in the position I'm in in life. I'm not reliable and I keep my distance from social situations. I often feel sad and pathetic about myself.

Truth is I over-think everything and I'm terrified of failure. I just need to get out there and really try. I need to force myself to push through

Does anyone know of good resources for figuring out average salaries in Portland, especially in IT? I work in a retail computer repair shop and I know I'm getting underpaid, but I don't know by how much. Anyone else in a similar job want to have a conversation about this with me? I'll buy coffee for anyone who wants to meet up in person!
