My opponent knows I can Fake Out them so they're going to Protect but I know that they know that i can Fake Out them so I can target their other Pokemon while they Protect but they know that I know that they know I will do that so they Protect their other Pokemon and attack but I know that they know that I know that they know......

How the hell do people develop any sense of what their opponent is going to do? Especially in a Best of 1 ladder?

I really hate the fact that its impossible to review battles that i just had without having to record every single match i do from start to finish, but thats not even the worst part about the lack of replays. The real downside is the fact that theres a million posts per day from people who are unable to comprehend why their opponent's Kingambit attacked before their Sneasler when they SWEAR ON THEIR LIFE THAT IT WAS TOTALLY TURN 1 AND HE USED A NORMAL PRIORITY MOVE AND NO OF COURSE THERE WASNT TRICK ROOM OR TAILWIND OR ANYTHING I SWEAR

In an interview with a producer for Pokemon Champions, he mentions that Dondozo and Tatsugiri were intentionally removed from Regulation M-A due to creating difficult and complex gameplay that newcomers would be confused by. Given that Regulation M-B will coincide with the Mobile release, which will bring in a brand new wave of new players, it's extremely likely that Tatsugiri won't be added once again to maintain a simple meta for newcomers, meaning we will still not know its Mega Ability.

Would you be okay with this? Or do yo

I hate the auto-aid request app so much. A ton of players just leave it on and randomly litter the map with random tool/weapon requests that they dont actually need and which take up space that couldve gone to actual intentional aid requests. I wish so much that there was a way to filter these out so i can only see requests that people actually want fulfilled. Or just remove it altogether, i dont know if anyone who has ever played this actually found it useful

I just learned today that you can combine two 400 XL Metal containers into one combined 800 XL container by equipping them to your backpack and using "auto arrange cargo". This is so unbelievably useful for storing more materials in the Magellan and carrying them around in the truck that i cant believe im only learning about this now. Was this in the first game too? Is there some tutorial about this that i missed? Im so lucky i found this out on accident

I can't play this game because of its kernel anti-cheat making it impossible to run on my computer so i've only been watching twitch footage. And I don't think I've ever seen a hero's abilities affect the outcome of a battle or match at all. It seems to me that its more about getting upgraded guns and better armor than your opponents, rather than utilizing your abilities at the right moment. Is this actually the case?

The only hero whose ability matters from my observation is the one that gives everyone armor, solely because it's the only one that actually helps on the "get better guns and armor" front. Maybe the Ice Guy's walls come in clutch sometimes? maybe? But those are the only two wh

Something that i've noticed that people aren't aware of is the fact that entering Act 2 does give some minor changes to the world, and its not just entering Act 3 that does this. Off the top of my head, I can think of 2 changes that happen:

  • The dice game gambler bug in Blasted Steps will die, leaving behind their charm to pick up for free
  • The ant merchant in Hunter's March will die, leaving behind the Fractured Mask to pick up for free, but the Curveclaw gets stolen by the giant ant above them

I'm pretty sure that Moorwing will also get moved to their secondary location that's no longer blocking Bellhart, but I've never tested that myself. Has anyone else noticed things that change be

I'm not even finished with the base game yet (i've only completed 4 chapters, both A-Side and B-Side), but something that persisted in my mind throughout it all was the fact that i did not think the Stamina mechanics actually made rooms more difficult in an enjoyable way. Something I've enjoyed about the game so far is how obvious the "solution" for each room was. It has, so far, never been a question of "what exact inputs did they intend for me to do to complete this room", but rather a question of "can i string together these difficult jumps in sequence and without fail". And I really really enjoy that mechanical challenge, because im someone who always looks up the solution to a puzzle

Freelancer disabled the Silent Assassin rating so that players would focus more on completing the mission objectives and experimenting with the game's systems rather than worrying about not getting spotted or only doing silent kills. However, in its place, they left "Traceless ICA Assassin". This is the highest possible rank you can get on a Freelancer mission, achievable by completing the requirements for Silent Assassin during a run and also avoiding "leaving a trace". But what exactly does it even mean to leave a trace? What actions can you take that will void Traceless ICA Assassin, and leave you instead with Clean, Stealth, or Shadow Assassin? That's what i spent the last several days t

I've seen a lot of speedrunners use their pistols to make guards or targets fall over face-first, but whenever i tried to do it they either just shrug off the bullet or fall over backwards. Is there any guide that details where to shoot NPCs to make them fall over the way you want, and what weapons are best for doing it?
