Hello wonderful people, I don't think this has been requested yet - but I've been getting back into watching movies based in one of the world wars, and I realized how much I'd love to read M/M based in a war-ridden world.
If anyone knows of any good M/Ms set during either of the world wars, I would love to hear it. The more angst or emotion, the better - I just want to feel something again after TSOA lol. Thank you in advance! :)
You know when you read a book so good, that you almost never want to touch another one again in fear of tainting the whole book-reading experience? That's exactly how I feel after finishing TSOA - Madeline Miller has set the standard so high for me within romance, that I quite literally haven't read anything else since the past few days haha.

Just picked up 'Hot Head' by Damon Suede again, a few months after I originally bought it - and I'm honestly buzzing from how good it was. I remember not wanting to continue it originally when I first started it, because I'm not a big fan of third person within M/M (exception of Heated Rivalry ofc) and due to a slow introduction; but oh my god, it was exactly what I was looking for after these few weeks of predictable romances.
I loved Dante beyond words, and him and Griff were such a great pairing. Damon Suede's writing was the cherry on top. Not just witty dialogue, but genuine character development and an immersive environment.
Now I'm probably going to mope around knowing that I wo
