I'm not sure if this question breaks this sub's rules, but here goes

I've recently lost my job and thus my health coverage and am in need of refilling my Lialda prescription. Without insurance this sits at around $1300/month. This is not affordable to me. I've discussed this with my doctor and the best option he could provide was a prescription for Delzicol, which somehow turns out to actually be more expensive than the Lialda.

I've done some searching for solutions, This reddit commenter suggested looking at a program offered by Shire, which I am looking into. But, why

I'm very new to snooker, just catching a game here and there in hotels while I'm traveling. If the player currently shooting has a lead greater than the remaining points, why not just end the round? Or why not have the rules just end it? Is it more than just trying to see how high of a score or how many centuries you can get? Is there a rule I'm missing that could still allow the other player to win the round?

TIA.

Yeah, it's just me not understanding the rules/etiquette (I even called frames "rounds"...I'll see myself out), thanks everyone

You probably won't read this, and you probably won't be caught. But, you are a piece of shit and the only person I honestly have ill will towards. I hope karma pays you back 100 fold. Asshat.

I've never participated in a bag tag club, so have a few questions on how to do this.

  1. How is it decided what course is played? Does the challenger/challengee(?) get to pick, or do the two need to agree on a course?
  2. After the round ends and tags are traded (or not), what (if any) time-frame must pass before attempting to reclaim your tag, or challenge again for the tag you failed to win?
  3. Is there a standard format of play that is used (e.g. total score, holes won, etc...)? Or is this also decided by the participants?
  4. What about rescheduling challenges. Is there a penalty if someone needs to reschedule? How many times can it be rescheduled before it's considered a disqualifica

For years I've been using something like an armless desk chair, the only problem being it's not very comfortable. Recently I've been playing while standing, which I prefer to do when I'm really serious about practising.

What I'm looking for is a recommendation for a chair that would accommodate the times where I'm just noodling around. Looking for something comfortable for extended periods of time. Was considering a papasan chair, but fear it would pose the same problem I have with a couch (arms/elbows colliding with couch). Maybe there's just a better way to sit on the couch or hold the guitar on the couch?

Any ideas are welcome.

TIA

First time posting here. Hope I followed the rules, will try to update if I failed.

A common topic found on r/discgolf where discussions can get very animated. There are two schools of thought:

  • Finder's Keeper's
  • If it had a name/number on it, it remains the property of Disc Golfer A. Disc Golfer B has effectively stolen the disc if no attempt was made to return it to the original owner.

A little googling brought me to two pages:

Lost, mislaid, and abandoned property

Does the disc in question count as lost or abandoned? Does the status of the disc depend on marking your dis

"Some disc golf companies use a 4-number system to describe disc flight characteristics. Why does Discraft use only one (stability rating)?

At Discraft, we want to give players the absolute best service and information. Unlike other disc sports companies, we conduct regular focus groups to talk face to face with players of all experience levels and get their feedback. One point that consistently comes up in these studies is that a four-number rating system confuses and annoys a majority of players. Their message to us is "keep it simple."

Another equally important point on this topic is the completely subjective nature of the informatio

I own a Fender Blacktop Stratocaster (HH), and this last weekend I purchased a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB bridge and SH-2n Jazz neck to replace the stock pickups. While I am new to the world of guitars, but even more so to playing with their electronics, I am concerned that I installed the new pickups incorrectly.

With the SD pickups came wiring diagrams which (of course) did not match the stock wiring in my guitar. Also, with the new pickups, came instructions to simply take a picture of, or write down, the existing wiring and use that to copy the current installation. So, that's what I did, took a picture put the green where the green was and so on.

So now, I am concerned this resulted in

Wondering if anyone knowns of a shop that can do a setup on my guitar. I called guitar center and they said ~1 week for a turn-around. Does anyone know of a decent place that can do it in much less time...2-3 days?

TIA

edit: thanks for all of the suggestions!
