Hey all - I've been having a string of bizarre calls over the past 2-3 months where Temu customers (mostly older individuals from what I can make out over the call / voicemails) are calling me to dispute a charge or initiate a return of product.

I've tried asking these individuals how they got my number, but understandably, the callers have found it odd and sketchy that a.) I'm claiming I'm not a Temu customer rep and b.) that I'm interested in understanding how they got hold of my number in the first place.

Has anyone ever come across this?

I’ve really gotten into Latin music as of late (Cuban Jazz, Cumbia, Mariachi, Samba, Flamenco, etc) and I’m wondering if there are any bars or venues that regularly have local Latin musicians?

Would anyone be interested in participating in weekend pickup basketball at Noe Court Playground. There's a pretty awesome outdoor basketball court and I've noticed there is rarely any pickup games ever going on.

I live nearby in the neighborhood and am trying to organize ideally 5-on-5 games but am definitely open to starting out with 3-on-3s.

If enough folks are interested, I'm happy to create a Google group and start a simple email thread to see what weekly turnout will be.

I am very close to retirement finish line -- I have a pretty nice pension, a decent amount of money saved up, and am close to finishing off paying two of my properties. I plan to retire in 2 years, but I am late to the Life Insurance game.

I am a complete neophyte when it comes to Life Insurance and I was wondering if any of you might have some tips for me before going and purchasing a plan. I am happy to provide more details if need be.

Two key differences here:

1.) Kawhi is a far better players in my opinion than Melo was but....

2.) Our core is vastly younger than the core that was traded by the Knicks in '11.

I hope that our playoff drought doesn't cloud the judgement of Rob and Magic. Sure if we trade for Kawhi, the first order consequences are making the playoffs and perhaps contending, but the 2nd and 3rd order consequences may be catastrophic long term if we trade away our young guys with huge upside (BI, Lonzo, Kuzma and to a lesser extent Hart) that can make us formidable for the next ~5 years.

Plus, Kawhi's injury is no joke. How do you guys feel?
