Finally got around to playing this game and wow, it's amazing. The world building and characters are so engaging. It made such an impression on me. I lived in Baton Rouge for a bit and I've been to New Orleans plenty of times. The devs really managed to capture Louisiana. The storyline is so unique too. I'm still processing the game. Well done to the creators. This is amazing work.

I met her on a swipe app. She was extremely attractive and there were immediate fireworks. We hook up on the first date. She instantly begins contacting me all the time and spending every weekend at my place. The first couple months were pure bliss.
But, as I've noticed with other posts here, the cracks in the façade began to form. She criticized my movie choices ("Every movie you pick is terrible"), my restaurant choices ("You like terrible food"), how I dress ("Why do you always dress awful?" -- keep in mind I was dressed for the gym when she said we were going to the gym), my expensive luxury apartment ("I hate this dungeon. The view is terrible"), my car ("I hate your car."), etc. etc.
I'm renting an apartment and I'm clueless about room design. I do not have any furniture (other than an Output Platform desk, which is detailed below), so I'm starting from a clean slate.
Lifestyle notes:
- I plan to work from home fairly frequently.
- I play and practice guitar so I need a spot to place my guitar. I have a small practice amp so that shouldn't be a space issue..
- I also like to work on music on a desktop computer with monitor speakers. I have a producer desk (an Output Platform) with the dimensions
I bought a new gaming laptop (MSI Delta 15), which should EASILY run AOE2:DE. I was getting 16.9 fps and was ready to return the laptop. I spent hundreds of hours reading forums, uninstalling and reinstalling different version of GPU drivers (laptop has an AMD Radeon 6700M for reference), updating windows, playing around with the BIOS, etc. etc. It turns out the problem was entirely caused by Citrix Workspace, which I use for work. I uninstalled Citrix and my fps in AOE2 instantly went from 16.9 fps to 90+ fps. Thought I would post in case anyone else is having issues.
I'm teetering on the edge of picking up a laptop. Anyone have any coupon codes?
What software and/or instruments and musical equipment do I need to start recording synthwave music?
Also, is there a good intro or 101 book for this?
I thought it'd be a useful thread for everyone if we all compared notes regarding what has and hasn't worked in their legal marketing efforts.
Here's what I do:
-
- 2-3 blog posts per week
-
- Add 4-5 new pages on the website regarding specific practice area issues. I use Wordpress.
-
- 5-12 Tweets per day. I also respond to all new follows, send out regular periodic Tweets (like a "good morning" tweet and other evergreen Tweets).
-
- Answer 1-2 questions on Avvo
-
- 1-2 guest blog posts per month
-
- 1-2 press releases per month. I distribute the PR releases on ~12 different sites.
-
- I repurpose content on Quora, Facebook, Google+, and a few other social networking sites.

I'm not a professional web developer. However, my job has given the following task: (1) There's a database of 2,000 record. Each record has ~20 associated fields. (2) I have to create a website that displays a "teaser" version of each database item - a free short overview. (3) Users have to log-in and pay for a membership to view the full record. (4) Create a CMS-type form where employees can enter new items into the database that are automatically added to the website.
I started out creating a MySQL database and thought I could create a website in PHP and integrate the database. Creating the CMS interface, however, would take me a good deal of time given my level of expertise.
My boss (wh
I've written a couple short articles (400-700 words apiece) and they were allegedly rejected. I think the requester is getting original content and not paying for it. The requester claimed my article didn't pass copyscape, one said the format has been used several times (this is after the requester asked for a specific format - not that format is distinct from content), and one said the keyword wasn't implemented in the article even though it was. Is there any recourse? Can we build a database on here for shady requesters? I wasted my time and effort and feel very ripped off.
Really detailed and interesting blog post about Ovi's decline in performance
mc79hockey.com/?p=4621#38;utm_source=twitterf...I realize it's personal to each attorney, but overall, does anyone know which practice areas seem to have the most happy, well-adjusted people? Are there practice areas that seem to have higher levels of satisfaction?
