It's a two hour procedure that started a little over an hour ago, and let me tell ya, this is gonna be a very boring wait. On the bright side, my new phone (the Samsung Galaxy S21+5G, which I won in a Twitter contest T-Mobile was running) has been delivered, and I managed to replace both of my washer fluid nozzles while waiting.

What's everybody else up to today?

I turned 27 this year. Since my birthday, I've accepted my second ever promotion at work, I've gotten my driver's license (after being out of practice for roughly 7 years), and I've started financing my first car. Despite 2020 being the way it's been, I'm excited (nervous, but also excited). Also, all of these things I've done within the passed week. It's been interesting catching up on all the things I should've taken care of a decade ago!

It's just something that's been on my mind for a bit. I've found a small number of bands from the island on Youtube, but is there a pop-punk scene in Puerto Rico?

For victory number 1, after about a year of trying, I was finally approved for my first credit card. Granted, it's not the greatest card (high interest rate, low credit limit, and an annual fee), but it's something to help me build up my currently non-existent credit.

For victory number 2, I ordered my new phone. My current phone (Moto G4 Plus), has had a recent history of rebooting whenever it feels like it (for real though, it's probably a memory problem). It's also been running pretty slow. I decided to upgrade to the Moto G7, which is a lot newer than my phone, and still good on my budget.

Today was a good day.

I procrastinated all of yesterday (playing video games, and taking plenty of naps), so now I'm up, getting my laundry done and watching some Hulu, before having to go back to sleep.

Yesterday while I was at work, one of the department managers asked me to do a favor for the pharmacy manager, and participate in the company's "Wellness Day". Wellness Day is an event that allows for both customers and employees to get simple tests done for free regardless of insured status.

So I went ahead and got my blood pressure taken. I let the pharmacist know that I had pre-workout before coming into work that day (it was a pre-mixed one, that had 300mg of caffeine. I was curious of the flavor). When she checked, she knew it was going to be high, but she had a look of concern when she saw how high it was. 184/84. She told me that I should reduce my caffeine intake, and start drinking

Hey all! I'm new to the Marvel Unlimited app, and all-new to Marvel Comics in general (read a handful of runs, some of the Elseworlds stuff, and some Spider-Man and Deadpool stuff). I was wondering what runs you guys consider to be a lot of fun to read through.

And I feel great! I'm a Customer Service Manager at the store that I work at, and my mind is so much more open to change. I have ideas for the area that I work in, that I can't wait to bring once I'm actually back to work.

Just started downloading Destiny 2. I wouldn't mind playing with a few other new (or veteran) players when I get home for the day. Anyone play? My PSN name is DasB1doof.

I'm just laying on my bed, lightly browsing Reddit (I'm about to read some manga on my phone, though), with Fallout Shelter playing in the background (which I am doing so much better at on my PS4, than I ever was on mobile), while enjoying a nice, cool vape. It's been a while since I've decided to relax like this.

How is everybody else this morning?

I turn 25 next Wednesday. I decided to take the work week off to just sort of stay away from the outside world. I've cleaned up my watchlists for my streaming services, and I guess I'm just going to be binge-watching some shows (I'm almost completely up to date with Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and I've just started watching My Hero Academia).

Anybody do anything similar for their birthdays?
