For the past week or so somebody has been attempting to reset the password to this account. Just stop. This is one of my oldest accounts and I'm not giving it up.

I might be willing to sell it, but you'd need 4 or 5 digits to make me even consider it. ;)

But seriously, stop with the password resets.

I didn't know how else to "reach out" to whoever is doing it, this was my only idea.

I used to own a lovely RX8 grand touring. I loved that car. The girlfriend did not. It was not practical and we were going to start a family soon, so I sold last year it and got a 2011 3. Well the girlfriend is gone now but hte Mazda 3 remains.

On the way to work I saw what I am 99% sure is my old RX8 for sale. I lit up. I was late for work because I spent about 10 minutes just walking around it seeing what kind of condition it is in.

My heart is telling me to go make an offer today, but my brain is concerned. I know all about the gas milage, the need for oil, etc. I already own winter tires for it (that I never sold when I sold the car). My concern is a soon to be 4 year old rotary engine

So I bought some new shoes the other day. Fantastic ya? No. I got some Sperry Billfish (size 7) and some no-show socks to keep the sexy going, but five minutes later the socks are bunched around my toes and my ankles and back of my achilles tendon are all bloody. I'm at a loss of how to fix this. I love the shoes, but they cause me so much pain!

I just sat down and convinced myself to go out and buy some new shoes; my first pair that cost over $20, mind you. I wake up, ready to show them off and what do I see when I look out the window? Rain. All day. For the next three days.

Does FMF or MFA really wear their nice(r) shoes out in the rain/snow? What are the alternatives?

edit

Very late edit, I'm in rural Illinois, so when I say "inclement" I mean up to several feet of snow and ice.

A (20 year old) girl I've known for not quite a year now tried to kill herself on Friday.

I've known for the past year that she has suffered from depression and also intense migraines and takes Tylenol with codeine to mitigate them but, according to her, the pills don't work as well as they used to. But that could be another issue all together.

She has talked to a counselor in the past but hated it. She prefers to just keep everything in and going to the counselor "makes me think of everything all over again." I finally (three weeks ago) convinced her to talk to one on campus. She didn't like it because it was recommended she withdraw from school and go into a clinic for more serious help
