For months, everyone have been screaming for the Democrats to "DO SOMETHING" FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT. Well, now the Democrats have done something. They have used the one weapon they have, The Government is shut down. But they are receiving little credit. No support, No real fundraising boosts. No Accolades.

Wonder why the Democrats seem reluctant to stick their necks out? This is why. No one rewards them.

Politicians are simple creatures. You must praise them when they do good as hard as you scold them for doing bad.

Republicans understand this. Our side refuses to learn it.

I tried to log in at about 840 EST. I got the Servers error. Rebooted my Xbox and relaunched the game. The game loads but my 500 V-Bucks I had are gone. Has anyone else noticed this?

I know everyone is pissed at the Senate Dems. Okay? Yeah I get it. But it's a bad deal either way. There are hundreds of thousands of Federal workers. People we NEED. Elon and his DOGE morons are tying to fire people. SO are are all Trump's Ghoulish cabinet Secreataries. But they can't fire everyone. Federal judges are ordering people back to work. Resistance is working.

Now if you shut down the government, everyone gets sent home. Thousands of people going weeks without checks and with NO promise of relief or back pay. The GOP will feel NO pressure to open the Government back up. How long can we watch people suffer? On the hope that MAYBE Trump's numbers will go down. Plus, what little pu

I read this book in the mid 80s in middle school. I believe it was part of a series. It was an adventure novel, taking place in a post apocalyptic America. The hero is a biker with a Dog, a Pit bull i believe. The Bike had a grenade launcher and other stuff attached to it. It was very much in the Mad Max vibe, the hero goes from place to place getting in adventures, helping people survive and so on. . There was also sex in it. Can anyone help me find the title?

Kristi Noem, Pete Hegseth and Matt F'n Gaetz are not the people you install in your government if you're planning to impose fascism or establish your dictatorship.

I'm not saying that these people can't do damage. But Trump is not setting himself up to be President for life if he's depending on Kristi Noem to keep the men with guns on his side.

Trump is clearly staffing the government with Weaklings and supplicants who owe everything to him. Dictators do that AFTER they've established themselves as a dictator.

The danger from Trump remains stuff like letting his people loot the government through contracts and gutting regulations. Establishing a dictatorship isn't happening with the

I'm 48 years old. I've been supporting and voting for Democrats since 2000, so i am very familiar with crushing, dispiriting defeat. If there's is ONE thing I have learned is that NO ONE knows what the next winning candidate will look like. NO ONE. We don't know where that candidate will be from. He or she might be a governor, or a Senator. From the South, the West, Hawaii, wherever. WE DON'T KNOW. We can't rule anyone out and we can't get all starry eyed over who looks good to us now.

Don't worry about a candidate. Worry about ORGANIZATION. Put your energy into building the infrastructure and systems that will build us victory. I don't know if Gavin Newsome can win an election. I

This a question for the old people like me. Arsenio was the first Late Night show, I ever watched or cared about. As a young Black kid, it was amazing to say the least. I always considered it a Fox show, because it aired on the Fox channel in my area. (Ch 35 in Central Fla) but it was not a Fox show. It was Syndicated by Paramount.

What channel or network was it on for you? The Syndication and affiliate part of TV has always fascinated me.

Have there any been any stories in comics or other media where Bruce is discovered and he has to deal with the fallout of being Batman? Like seriously dealing legal and/or financial consequences of being found out? I'm sure Bruce would have contingency plans in place if he's ever outed, I just want to know if any writer or creator has dealt with it. I feel like that would be interesting.

Like how would the legal team at Wayne Enterprises react? How would the Gotham political system react? Every criminal in Gotham's jails would be asking for retrials. Bruce would most assuredly be sued.

I don't mean this in a snarky "What if Batman were real? "way either I mean in universe, could you cons
