Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask this. I went to Best Buy and they really didn’t help me so I figured you guys would know better. My girlfriend wants a digital camera that she can take to events and parties and stuff to take pictures, so I am going to surprise her with one. She doesn’t really have any experience with photography, nor do I. So I was wondering what might be a good compact beginner digital camera that I could buy her

Stable tempo shoes

General Discussion

I am currently recovering from minor plantar fasciitis and am about to go into summer training for XC. I currently rock Brooks Ghost 14s for all of my runs, but I want to buy one or two more pairs to build a rotation to prevent any overuse injuries.

I was thinking the Saucony Speed 2 for tempo runs and Saucony Triump 19 for long runs. My main concern is if the Speed 2s are stable enough to keep my plantar fascia happy. Are any tempo shoes really stable? Should I just play it safe and stick with regular trainers for speed work?

Note: I overpronate and that is why I’ve been recommended stability shoes. I also am not entirely sure what stability shoes mean so I apologize if what I wrote was

For reference, I’m 17 going into my senior year of high school cross country. I just started summer training, which consists of running, and I’m feeling the early symptoms of plantar fasciitis which I have struggled with a little before. I think that this training could help, but is there a way I can do it without having to decrease running and also without risking overtraining?

I am using the basic free zoom account for a one-on-one meeting and I need to it last for longer than 40 minutes. On the plan it says that one-on-one meetings can last for up to 30 hours. So if I just schedule a regular meeting and only myself and one other person are in the meeting, will it go for longer than 40 minutes? Or do I need to set up a special one-on-one meeting for that to work?

A good taper is no more than 10% jump in mileage from week to week.

0 miles to 10 miles —> ∞% ❌

0 miles to 5 miles —> ∞% ❌

0 miles to 1 mile —> ∞% ❌

0 miles to 0.1 miles —> ∞% ❌

0 miles to 0 miles —> 0% ✅

As you can see, the only real number that meets this criteria following zero miles is another zero mile week. Thus, one looking to taper correctly after not running must run no more than 0 miles for the first week. For the second week and those beyond, please refer back to the top of the post.

NOTE- Do not forget to run slowly!

I can’t find a good jumper for the new patch because big men can’t use the good bases and all of the youtube videos use those
