I dreamed I was a young girl, somewhere in an Asian country (China, Korea, Japan, idk) and an older wealthy couple adopted me and they were teaching me the social customs around ordering food and eating it at restaurants and social gatherings. It seemed like they were training me to be an eating companion for rich people.

There were things like what topics were acceptable in polite conversation, how to give and respond to a compliment, that you should wait to order until people of higher social status had ordered and then just order whatever they ordered.

But there was a dish called 'gist' that was basically wonton soup except it was served on a giant wooden arena where an assortment of du

The last thing I remember was some guy ran up to me who thought he knew me and showed me an amethyst geode pendant and said "Look what somebody just gave me! I've always wanted a Craig Stone! I finally got one!"

Just before that, I felt something heavy in my back pocket and when I checked to see what it was, it was a mobile made of crystals and arrowhead inside crocheted pouches.

Before that, someone gave me a poster that was ostensibly a painting made by my deceased father. I sat for a few moments and cried while several people came up to me and placed their backs up against mine.

The funniest thing I was given was when I wasn't looking someone sewed a floppy arm on my backpack so every

So I was in this family where there were 7 brothers and one sister. Our sister used to entertain the family in the parlour room by doing stuff that I can only describe as the kind of stuff that would probably go on in Victorian era "occult" circles. Not super dark stuff like summoning demons and not the cliches like Ouija boards or seances but more like a "poetry reading from the beyond" where she would put on this beautiful airy blue dress covered with silver moons and stars and stand in the middle of the room and re-enact stories from "the fairy kingdom."

The whole family enjoyed it or at least we humored her and our mom would stick up for her when guests thought our sister was possessed

I stumbled across the category on archive.org and now I'm looking for more. There are only a handful of albums on there tagged with this category and I've also found some on soundcloud but since it seems like it fits under the umbrella of experimental music I thought this might be the place to ask for anybody's recommended favorites.

I had to google those terms when I woke up and apparently they have something to do with Kabbalah and not just Final Fantasy which was my first thought.

When I went to bed last night I thought it would take a long time to go to sleep because I could literally feel the coffee buzzing around in my head but I must have started dreaming the moment I laid down. It has become fairly commonplace for me that as I am falling asleep I can feel an invisible person next to me. This time it was as soon as I lay down. I don't think I have ever started dreaming so immediately.

I wrapped my arms around this invisible woman and suddenly the room fell away beneath me and we were flying, or rather she wa

There was a very old woman in a wheelchair. The wheelchair had balloons tied to the handles.

An employee asked "What's with the balloons?"

"It's my birthday," she replied in a voice that was barely above a whisper.

"Oh My!" The employee exclaimed, "How old are you?"

"A hundred and one."

"Wow! What's your secret?"

"Stay away from doctors!"

The dream ended somewhere in a desert. White sands, white sky, and on the horizon there was a flat-roofed, cinderblock rectangle painted white. It appeared to be a gas-station, probably built sometime in the 1950's.

I was in a large crowd of people. For some reason, we were all wearing lab frocks. Upon spotting the gas station in the distance, we raced to get there first. We were all laughing so hard (because of something, I forget) and were really desperate to get to the restroom.

It was a three-way tie. Two women (identical twins) and a man got there first but the restroom was occupied so the door was locked. The three of them touched the door and refused to take their hands away so that

The scene: A cramped Victorian parlour. Several chairs are arranged on one side of the room, facing a wall with nothing on it other than wallpaper. I am one of several people who are sitting in the chairs, politely bored and staring straight ahead at the wallpaper.

A traveling salesman has come to demonstrate the features of a player-piano that he is selling. It has spots for not one, not two, but three player rolls -- two for playing and one for recording. He explains that while dual-roll player pianos exist which allow for copying one roll to another, this one with it's third roll lets you record from either roll or record yourself playing along. He demonstrates a feature where it will al

I noticed this yesterday when I woke up. No recent updates that I’m aware of. When I press the home button the haptics are super jarring and make an audible squeak whereas before it was just a subtle tactile pulse that you could feel but not hear. None of the three options in settings for the home button make much difference. With everything in sounds and haptics turned off there is still no change. What else can I try to make it go back to the way it was?

I haven't changed any settings lately. There was a windows update sometime last week so I guess it could be that. I'm also using RES so maybe this is an issue with RES? Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue or has any suggestions for how to fix.
