Mars is reckoned to have no magnetic field for 2 billion years. This magnetic cloud may have been released to map any faint residuals such as magnetic materials on the surface. This indicates that 3i/ATLAS may be considering giving Mars an artificial magnetic field as a first step in making Mars habitable.

I predict 3i/ATLAS will settle in at Jupiter L1 until we become extinct in about 200 years (or less). It will then stop the heating process on Earth and put it into snow-ball state, but we will not be around to verify that. It will not attempt to cool Venus or to heat Mars. It may do something re Jupiter's moons but I haven't a clue what.

is to make a documentary series about the Erebus disaster. I know why the plane crashed. I know why there was a conspiracy of lies. I know why Justice mahon had to die. Who wants to join the project ?

This is going to garner gales of derision, but nevertheless it has to be taken seriously. There is a highly speculative hypothesis that while anything with mass cannot travel faster than the speed of light, information can do so. Because information has no mass, it has no limitation. The mechanism theorized is quantum entanglement. The idea is that two bowes are created in a laboratory, where a "yes" in one box causes there to be a "yes" in the other box. If you change the "yes" to a "no" the other box instantaneously changes to a "no". You can move both boxes out of the laboratory and and separate them by a vast distance (which takes a significant amount of time) and still, when you change

The Universe is governed by two types of process. The basic process is chaos where you put a few things together and anything can happen, the outcome is unpredictable. The other is function, where you put specific things together and the outcome is fully determined. When we call something functional we mean that it always behaves as you would expect.

The most important functional process in the Universe is gravity. When we look into the cosmos everything we see determined by gravity. Gravity is such a powerful process that we have to look at objects as small as planets before we can expect to see chaotic processes. This is a good thing because without the absolute nature of gravity applying

At every opportunity to demonstrate conformity with cometary behaviour, 3I/ATLAS behaves contrary, as if trying to hammer home a point. 3I/ATLAS is an alien spacecraft which is going to be with us for a while. Once we understand its reason for being here it becomes apparent that it will be here for many years. If it was going to leave the Solar System it would have done so already at perihelion - it knows where the door is. 3A/ATLAS changed its point of perihelion from the "natural" 1.8 AU, just inside Mars orbit, to 0.8 AU just inside Earth's orbit. This is 3I/ATLAS getting close and personal.

All informed discussion is shut down by a silence by both NASA and the China National Space Admin

3I/ATLAS did not "originate" from a star 270 ly away. That star was a whistlestop just like ours. 3I/ATLAS will stay here for as long as it is needed, possibly several hundred years in our case. We have to reverse and control global heating and learn how to build spaceships from asteroid materials as well as transform our society. This may require a mini-ice age. HD 43782 c is an Earth-like planet supporting an intelligent civilization. 3I/ATLAS will have visited hundreds of such planets in the course of its voyaging. 3I/ATLAS will have chosen Sol as a destination based on hundreds of prior examples. It will have known that an asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs and that this event may lead to

We have no realistic option but to believe that 3I/ATLAS is a teaching robot. If it has malicious intent we are screwed. So we must assume is has beneficial intent.

We already have a record of a previous visit by an interstellar teacher in the Lotus Sutra Chapter 7. This describes a rocket that lands on Earth and delivers teaching. This event happened in the deep past, maybe 10,000 years ago. It is speculated that it landed in Central Asia and that it introduced Sanskrit. The civilization where it landed has since been lost and has to date not been excavated by archeologists to any extent due to its remote location and the vastness of the ruins. However the story of this visit survived an

Are you prepared to bet that 3I/ATLAS is just a rock ? Then do nothing. Are you prepared to risk making yourself look extremely stupid and bet it is an interstellar machine with advanced technology ? Then you need to make contact. You do this by setting off a Nickel flare. This is the signal to invite a 3I/ATLAS component to visit Earth.

We can set off the flare and see nothing happen. That is when we look silly. Or, 3I/ATLAS can respond. We need the help. In 20 years we run out of potable water and arable land, and global warming causes a continuous sequence of catastrophes. So first up we need to find a way to manage global warming. This will require advanced technology which we do no

We seem to assume that the universe emanates from a point and expands in a globe - that is what any models that I have look like ? Why is this assumption cast in stone ?

There are two other shapes that the universe could be. 1 bilobed like many of the planetary nebula. 2 Torus shape.

The torus shape is the more interesting because it allows for more complex spatial interactions. As the torus expands stars appear to drift apart just like the sphere model. The torus model also admits spiraling strands within the torus, so that stars may be moving away from the origin or towards it at different times.

How would a torus form ? Some axis in the multiverse coul be spinning relative to other dim
