A farmer is riding home from his wedding in a traditional horse drawn carriage with his new wife.

Suddenly, the horse breaks into a run, nearly causing the newlyweds to fall off.

The farmer reigns in the horse, gets down off the carriage, and walks calmly to the front of the horse. He holds up a finger horse and says, "That's one."

A few miles later the horse sees a mare in a nearby field, and turns off the road toward the mare, nearly flipping the carriage.

Again, the farmer reigns in the horse, gets down and walks to the front of the horse, holds up two fingers and says, "That's two."

As they near the farm, the horse sees his stable, and eager to be home, again breaks into a run.
