What are y’all’s favorites?
I’m getting a little sick of Costco bacon and would like to upgrade to something a little higher quality but ideally with out completely breaking the bank.
FYI - I have tried making my own but it’s never been very successful. I love uncured pork belly as well and would rather keep it for other things than spend the time to make an ultimately disappointing bacon.
I buy whole hogs from a neighbor and love that but of course the bacon goes real fast and buying it on its own gets a little too expensive.
Just curious if anyone’s found any good deals for something decent at a decent price. Thanks so much!
First time making a Yule goat, pretty happy with how it turned out. Hope y’all are enjoying the season!
reddit.com/gallery/rnah0uI live up in Lumpkin county but this is the closest place I could find that has a rec league, let me know if any of you could use an extra player! I (f30) played in college, though it’s been a couple years now since I played competitively, primarily right side and middle
Both have been presented on Duolingo in separate lessons and appear to have identical meanings but I’m not picking up on when or why to use one over the other. Any insights?

I know they’re more associated with being Celtic these days but my understanding is that they were originally a Germanic custom too. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, I’m having trouble digging up historical info over all the contemporary wedding stuff. Thanks as always!
Sort of a weird request but I’m looking for ways to experience or participate in the mythology, the creation myth in particular, more along the lines of oral tradition in addition to just reading them.
Doesn’t have to be anything elaborate, YouTube videos or podcasts episodes that are more performative than explicative, or any other form of storytelling (ideally coming from within the Heathen worldview rather than without but I’m not too picky as long as it’s sourced reliably)
I imagine I have a lot of the same questions as many others. I’m hoping maybe there’s a way of compiling a directory for beginners, so to speak.
Anyone have any solid recommendations for historical attentions, resources for finding legitimate and reputable mentors, other reliable sources for further understanding what seidr is (and what it is not) at the 101 level, that sort of thing?
I’ve found bits and bobs of info here and there but would love to see it all collected in one place, not to mention vetted by a community I can trust.
Thanks!
