Today I went into the hataitai bakery to buy some chocolate croisants (they are usually made on a saturday night and available on sun/mon) and this family were all in there and the mother was sneezing and had her mask down.... I then go to a coffee shop to buy some caffiene and she's in there with her fucking nose out of her mask. I glared at her and left. What the fuck is wrong with people? Are they too stupid to understand how to wear a mask or to sneeze into their elbow?
I mean Radio NZ - they seem to give Chris Bishop a lot of air time even though he is only a list MP - why dont they just give hima fricken job? Luxon is everywhere too... Anything relating to the PM or the govt is negatively framed... Balance, fairness and factual reporting should be key parts of journalism but these seem to be sorely lacking in New Zealand, why?

I have a package that was set for overnight delivery. checking the tracking data - 17 days later - it is still sitting at the depot waiting to go in a couriers van.
Fed up, I called NZ post (oops meant Courier Post WTF in the heading). The person I spoke to said they need to ask the investigations team to call me back and to chase this up. Adding another day or two (or probably more) onto the delivery date. No apologies, no nothing apart from yet more pointless beauracy "because this is the process"
This isn't my first rodeo with these useless assholes but it will be my last. I'm thinking it'd be quicker and more reliable to resort to fucking carrier pidgeons
Ordered some items and got confirmation and a tracking number with the service standard being overnight. This wasnt a biggie - the sender was across town in Wellington, so even with covid it should arrive in the next 24/48 hours right?
