Background: So in the mornings I have a "school prep" routine that reminds the kids "hey, go brush your teeth", turns on the appropriate walkway light to the bathroom, "go get your backpack" it turns on the appropriate light in the living room, and finally "It's time to roll" and plays the 1986 Transformers Movie song because yes, I'm that kind of nerd dad.
TL;DR/Main Point: Well, school starts next week so we've all been getting up to get in the routine again from summer, I've turned on the "School Prep Routine" but I've noticed lately that the "wait" action doesn't seem to be properly waiting this week so the music to chase us out the door doesn't start to play. Where might the ro
Feb 2021: I have no idea what else I was doing except one... more... turn...
reddit.com/gallery/rh1aggI went on a hunt for a Varvatos Vex gif of him saying exactly that, yet I'm having no luck finding one.
So I come to you, fellow denizens of the reddit. What episodes (timestamps would be helpful) hold your favorite Varvatos moments that I can pull from?
He is deserving of all of our giffage.

A friend of mine who also has a rift posited the question: how much power is your HDMI port putting out? Try getting a HDMI signal booster with an external power supply.
After picking up a HDMI signal splitter at Best Buy that has external power and using that as the pass-through between the computer and the Rift we're good to go!
Thank you to everyone who commented.

So we got the family a Rift for Christmas (okay, mostly for my wife) and started going through the setup. Got to the point where it says to put on the headset and finish setup in VR.
Then I get nothing except a black screen and audio.
Put in a ticket with support but
TL;DR: Wondering if anybody has sample rate details for some of the headsets.
I see the sample rate details on things like the stand-alone microphone of the Seiren but when looking at the gaming headsets themselves all I get is information about frequency response, etc. Sample rates are missing.
I know the voice recording quality of a dedicated microphone will naturally be higher but given my desk space constraints and using on multiple computers a headset is really the way to go for me.
The easiest way to find the same rate information on a Mac is using the Audio Mi
What setting is it that can be turned off that would allow it so while on a land mount my wife doesn't feel motion sick?
Unless she's on her demon hunter (which she glides and leaps almost 100% with to avoid mounting) I have to mount on a two person mount just so she can get around.
Example: While on the back of my Obsidian Nightwing the mount rocks back and forth for the rider. (When standing idle it's worse). I don't see it since I'm driving, but the rocking/bouncing motion means she has to tab out until I let her know we've dismounted.
Some mounts aren't as bad for her, and it's especially not bad in the old world when flying.
Druid travel form doesn't seem to trigger it either.

So, if any of you have been eagerly lurking here while you wait to order the game on sale... I'd ordered my copy from Target during a Cyber or Black promotion (can't remember which) and they've now cancelled the order.
Supposedly I'll be getting a $15 eGift card which will cover the difference between what it was on sale and what it currently is on target.com... but if any of you were watching your physical mailboxes you may want to check your digital inboxes instead.
You've reached the end of this feed.
