Hello guys! PLEASE READ THE POST BEFORE COMMENTING love ya'll but please it takes like 90 seconds to read the whole thing :) Also for the purposes of this post I'm not taking requests for the songs from RED VELVET, SEVENTEEN, ATEEZ, STRAY KIDS or TWICE. Not because I dislike them but I have done quite a few requests for each of those groups in previous rounds and I like some variety!

.

I did these three times before 1 2 [3](https://www.reddit.com/r/kpoppers/comments/x5vhxt/give_me_a

I'm curious if any of you would consider yourself expert in not in terms of skills (like vocal/dance expert though y'all are super cool too) but moreso like the history of Kpop and whatnot, for instance I've seen people here who are be experts on 1st gen, or have an encyclopedic knowledge of all male JYP trainees in the last 20 years, or people who have excel spreadsheets with years of info about album credits, or people who go trolling in the bowels of Youtube to try and learn about every nugu group in existence

I know there's such an incredible wealth of extremely specific knowledge about Kpop history and I made this post hoping to hear some of the craziest stories y'all have found or ask

The playlist is here.

I would LOVE if some of ya'll would suggest songs or artists that you don't see on here that you consider gems of the kpop world. I want this playlist to be as full of good stuff from as many different artists, eras and albums as possible with a focus on their less popular songs, bsides, deepcuts from nugu groups as well as the under celebrated album tracks of more popular groups.

Here are the "rules" of the playlist

  • Must be released between Jan 1 2010 and Jan 1 2020.
  • Must be either a gg or female soloist (male features are fine, but the song should be credited to a female artis

youtube search algorithms are hurtin me rn because "healing kpop song" or "korean solo healing song" is not giving me the results i need

I know the title and I know this song came out sometime between 2013-2015 (I believe either 2013 or 14, The song used traditional musical instruments and the video featured i think a gayageum being played and professional dancers.

The english lyrics went "I want your healing. / I want your healing ooo," and i believe the singer had a fairly deep voice I just don't remember her name!

Hopefully one of ya'll remembers!

Hello guys! I did one of these once before and had a really great time with it, listened to a lot of new songs and made some fun playlists! So i'm back again! Playlists will be 5-8 new songs + the starting song you gave me (usually 25-35 minutes in length) all playlists are meant to be played in order

Here's what I need from you if you'd like one made:

  1. A kpop song you're loving recently no matter when it actually came out, please choose just one song
  2. A short explanation of what you love about it (talk about mood, genre, vocals, instrumental type, vibes whatever please! It giv

Just so yall know those numbers are just upper limits but im super curious about stuff with v low counts. what im really trying to avoid here is the answers that come on all those “best underrated songs” q’s! im asking for songs and groups youve never seen mentioned in those discussions!

Fellow Nugu music deep divers I'm always on the hunt for hidden gems. I'd love to know some of the best stuff ya'll have found! Bonus points if it's not on streaming because streaming cannot handle the greatness (or the overly compressed audio)

Hello guys! I love making playlists its a real passion of mine! So i thought it'd be fun to make some based on people here! What i need is:

  1. A kpop song you're loving recently no matter when it actually came out
  2. A short explanation of what you love about it (talk about mood, genre, vocals, instrumental type, vibes whatever)
  3. Any specific requests for the playlists (for instance, prefering more male or female vocalists, anything you wouldn't like included that sort of thing)
  4. Do you want it to be kpop only or genre mix (there will be some other kpop no matter what but i listen to lots of music so i'm always excited to recommend other stuff!)

If you'd like examples of playlists i've

One of my absolute favorite running gags of the last few years or so is that RM of BTS continually gets caught up in (usually very silly and baseless) relationship rumors but instead of it being like "RM is meeting [x] with good feelings" it's always like "RM is engaged to be wed, owns shared property, children on the way" rumors. Like the entire kpop machine just looks at RM and says, yeah, this man in a long term committed relationship, this man is affianced, this man files taxes jointly, this man has two kids under the age of 4 and is trying to be a present and active father despite his hectic schedule.

I love that there's an idol with such palpable spouse energy that he avoids norm
