I ordered a pow kiddy v90 from Amazon August 18th and it still hasn't shown up. Said it would of been delivered September 19th and just says it's running late. There is no tracking either I'm worried it's never gonna arrive :(
So I’m moving this Friday (Hooray!) finally getting a nice apartment with a friend. I started cooking a lot more at home the past couple years. Don’t be like me and forget that you bought a bag of potatoes (who knows how long ago) and left it under the counter.
I just found it while I was packing away all my food supplies and pans……the smell in my kitchen rn is so bad I’m currently outside drinking a beer regretting every decision I’ve made and ordering a h.a.s.m.a.t suit so I can clean it up.
No but seriously if you buy a bag of potatoes please just remember they exist.
Hi guys just found this sub Reddit! Oh man is my 13 year old inner child is excited. I’ve recently been trying to play old jrpg games on my pc but there is something about sitting down in front of a whole computer to play I can’t do…it’s not the same.
I would really love one of these devices I was looking at the the Miyoo device it seems really nice! I would like to be able to play ff7 and 9 on this bad boy.
Is this a good device to start with? Will it run what I want? Can anyone point me in the direction of where to learn more about the devices? Do I just buy one off amazon? Im super lost so any help would be really appreciated!
Edit: wow thank you guys for the great starting info, you
I’m trying to create a little Linux machine using an older Lenovo think pad gen 4 type 2HS.
I swapped another m.2 into it, it’s a newer Samsung 970evo NVMe it’s the same form factor.
The laptop isn’t recognizing the SSD, it doesn’t show the storage option under Lenovo diagnostics and in the splash screen it just shows the L2 cache under my ram. I can’t configure any SATA options in the BIOS there is no IDE controller options. I have secure boot off and UEFi bios usb update enabled and all that jazz.
Soooo I’ve been trying and failing over the last couple hours of trying to boot from different ISO’s to flash the bios and update it because I thought it may help it find the SSD. I finally g
Hey, I work at a data capture place and we are currently trying to load an imaged partition on these laptops. It goes through the process and then says “no active partition” when rebooted. There is more than enough room for the image, we aren’t getting any errors.
My tech lead thinks it has to do with the fact that all the laptops have a bigger GB capacity then what we are trying to partition but that makes zero sense to me. I’m assuming it’s a bad initial image but he said they’ve loaded it 1,000 times before and the only difference is the size of the hard drive. Any ideas?
I live in CT, I have been out of work now for almost 2 months and still have not received an unemployment check (not even a second e-mail to confirm) I understand they are super backed up by why make it so we have to apply weekly for the unemployment? They can't even get through all the claims in one week.
I was finally doing good, had around 1.5k in my bank account the most i've ever had and now its all gone because of covid. No unemployment and no stimulus still, I don't know how much longer I can stretch my funds.
So it was probably 10 years ago I built my last pc, I was 16. Now at 26 I was finally able to save money and buy a computer I felt I deserved.
The build: Gigabyte X570 gaming x mobo Ryzen 5 3600 32g vengeance lpx ram Gtx 2060 super 1tb crucial mx500 ssd Corsair 650w 80 plus cert psu Lian li lancool 2 case
In all I’m into the computer for around 1,000 USD. I think that’s pretty good price to performance ratio!
I’m so freaking excited.
Looking to get a decent case, price ranged from 100-200$ at most.
Was looking at the nxzt 710 and Corsair crystal 600x series but every case I look at around this price range has mixed reviews.
Looking for something that will last, has good air flow and thermals and plenty of room for upgrades. Any suggestions?
Just got back from the theatre, I highly recommend this movie. It’s an Anime with subtitles so be prepared for that but it was a fantastic movie! The animation and emotional story telling brought to life by the characters blew me away, while maintaining a nice pacing and balance of comedic relief and emotional despair.
The theater did a limited showing for a week so idk if it’ll be playing everywhere but I’m sure you can find it if you look hard enough :).
