Weather issues - lights flashing - what's the procedure

Right-hand traffic (🇺🇸🇨🇳🇧🇷)

OK, this weekend was kinda stormy and the power to the town was affected. Earlier in teh day, all of the power was out and the police put up temporary stop signs at all 4 spots going into the intersection. The lights in each direction were flashing red.

Later in the day, the stop signs had been removed and the light for the red car (me) was flashing red. I'd waited for the car in front of Blue to drive through the insection, then I took my turn. Blue car was travelling slowly, but didn't stop. He honked at me, but ultimately slotted in behind me as all traffic was moving slow

With the new iPhones coming out, I was wondering what might be the best way to maximize rewards and cash-back rewards.

I'm new to the Amex BCED card and I don't know exactly how the various merchants are catergorized, quite yet.

My thought is that since online purchases qualify for 3% cash back that if I ordered from the Apple online store and that the payment is handled as such, would in-store pickup change the categorization. The reason being is that I would plan on picking up in Delaware where there are no sales taxes in order to save 6%. An additional 3% on top of that would be nice as well. Otherwise, I'd go with the 1.5% from another CC.

Has anyone done a purchase from [Apple.com](h

OK, I have Fios 1GB and I get YTTV and the $10 Disney+ through Verizon. As both of the discounts that I had been enjoying have expired, I'd rather switch over to paying separately. The question that I have is that if I cancel today, do I lose those services immediately or if they stay active until the date that they're paid for? If they do go dark immediately, does Verizon prorate the charges?

If anyone has gone through this already, I'd be interested in hearing how it went. Thanks.

I've been seeing lots of posts all over the place pointing out the Sixers schedule and how it's very favorable for us. I'm not convinced that there's any favoritism going on, but whatever advantages we're being accused of having, I'm thinking it's overstated.

  • Fewest B2B in the league
  • Fewest 3in4 nights
  • No Western Conference opponents until Game 18.

I'll tackle these one by one. My source is NBAStuffer.com - https://www.nbastuffer.com/2026-2027-nba-schedule-rest-days-analysis/

Fewest B2B in the league. This is true, but very overstated. All teams have between 13 and 16 B2Bs, which is ba

I've been reviewing our options for switching and I'm still a little confused. We currently have two separate lines, both on Visible Legacy 1 plans @ $30/mo, plus the $5 Welcome discount.

Both lines have updated to newer iPhones (one 16Pro and one 17) with the latest radios and such.

Is there an advantage to switching over to the new Visible plan at $25/mo? I think currently, we get unlimited data on the 5G UW band, so I'm thinking that as long as we're in a covered area, we're getting priority data. Maybe I'm conflating things here, so please set me straight.

Also, we're currently getting $5 off for the Welcome discount. If we switch to the $25 plan, would I be able to keep the Welcome d

OK, here's something else I noticed. After updating and running the new Gaunlet, I've noticed that I haven't had any challengers. I'm a sandbagger, so my times are pretty juicy for anyone wanting an easy 5gloves.

I've been stuck at 1150 points since last night. Usually by this time the next morning, I'd be back down to 1000-1030 points with a bunch of revenge challengers ready.

Is anyone else seeing this? I'd be fine with it if everyone else is not getting knocked down, since I'd be competing against even competition event in the mid-Rookie to low-Pro range.

Gauntlet ghost

Bug or Complaint

Just played Gauntlet under the new update. I noticed that there were no ghosts. I checked my setting and restarted the app. Still no ghosts.

I’m running iOS if it matters.

Anyone else notice this?

I screwed up on the first day of Gauntlet, so I just got the 10 gloves to get some GTokens after my 4th ticket. I decided to use my spend my 5th ticket on an opponent before the refresh to day 2, but I deliberately chose to wait until the refresh to actually play.

The 5th ticket counted for Day 2. I was able to get my 22 gloves using only 5 tickets, the first one being from Day 1.

Now, my plan is to see if there's an easy 5-glove challenge avaialbe before the refresh, but if there isn't what happens to that extra ticket after the refresh. Does it refresh to 5/5 and I lose it? Or does it refresh to 6/5?

Thanks.

What If? Monaco/Ferrrari perspective

:post-discussion: Discussion

With the Alpine ruling coming out this morning, I had an interesting thought. What if there were no Safety Cars at the end? If the track hadn't deteriorated and Stroll doesn't crash, the race may have run to completion without any interruptions.

Without Safety Car, all of the drivers with the 5-second penalty would not have served it during the race. Prior to the SC, Leclerc was catching up to Lewis and was likely going to finish within 5 seconds of Lewis.

If the race had played out like that, would Ferrari have appealed the penalty? It doesn't make a difference for the Constructor's Championship either way as they got 2 and 3. But would that have messed up chemistry within the organizatio

Let's say the Sixers want to move off of PG and GSW wants PG. The obvious choice would be Butler to come over to match salaries, but he's injured and won't be available for a while.

What about a S&T with KP where he signs a 3/$154M frontloaded contract with team options for years 2 and 3. KP gets a guarenteed $54M next season and if he's healthy and viable, he can get the remaining $100M. The Sixers get to bail on the remaining guaranteed PG contract.

The only other thing to consider is whether the Base Year Compensation thing gets in the way from GSW's side of it.

Let's just say that it's OK. Could we extract the #11 from them and still keep #22? So it would be KP+#11 for PG.
