I had a Saturn when I was 13 and I ended up selling my small collection when times got tough. BUT I corrected that and rebought one, this time an import white one! I bought a group of imports but also got a psuedo saturn kai for running "backups", which has worked great! A lot of these games I haven't played. Here's some thoughts:

  • Panzer Dragoon Zwei: I only got to play the first Panzer Dragoon when I was younger... I bought the imports of the whole series (which has incredible art and presentation btw). Zwei is definitely better and is actually insanely well made for its time. I find myself comparing it to Star Fox 64, since that was the epitome of on rails 3D shooter and has some gr

In response to the oft repeated claim that GRRM "writes slowly", is "lazy", or needs to write faster in general, I thought I'd compare his actual writing velocity to some other authors he is often compared to: Tolkien and Rowling (people often bring up Harry Potter's book release speed even though I personally don't think they're very comparable). These are authors of popular fantasy series whose writing speed is frankly never criticized, so they must be an ideal writing speed, right?

Let's look at the numbers.

Martin's A Song of Ice & Fire (so far) is 1,770,000 words total and was started 29 years ago.

Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is 576,459 words total and was completed in 17

With the changes in telecommuting transforming our society, my job (software engineering) may not force me to live right by the office. I found some cheap land (20k for a few acres) that is in a beautiful hilly region. Some houses are scattered here and there. 1 hr away from the tech offices and other stuff.

I have a dream of building a smallish contemporary home that is sort of a square shape but is separated into a rooms. More tech oriented, so fast internet, good electricity.

My GF and I have talked about renting it as an AirBnB (when things die down of course) and live in a trailer during those times. That allows us to make income off it even though we can afford it. (I have 200k save

I've been having the strangest symptoms lately and no doctors seem to know what they are, even ENT's. CT scan revealed....nothing.

A close friend died of a brain tumor recently and so for months I thought I developed neck cancer and would die within a month. Just endless anxiety, it has been a brutal last 6 months! I've been trying to finish my album and VR game, fearing they'll be my last swan song or whatever. Grim, eh?

But then I came here. Do I have this condition?

  • First I started having this tightness in my neck in the muscles beneath my left ear, kind of where the jaw meets the neck.

  • Then I started getting a clicking sound as I turn my head to the left and back, very loud.
