Did the complete fresh install with nuked temp file locations, no dice.

I just want to play my stupid space game and complain about real bugs, not excessive friction by some third rate 3rd party anti cheat (at least implement decent witelists and allow VM's again if you want to suck keeping the linux version working)

I would like a cube container with a hearth decal. Bonus points if it responds to bumps and makes a "don't leave me" sound when not moving towards it.

I think this will reinvigorate our inner loot goblins by creating a personal attachment like a certain other game did in the past ....

I have 2 Logiitecch mice tthat don'tt suffer thee ddreadeed double cliick issue. 1 is aa cheeapo mouse and the otther aan expeensive mousse. All myy other Logitech mice eitherr developpedd the issue during thhe two yeaarr EU wwarranty peeriod or sshorttly after the warranty perriood was passed. Ccheaap or expensiivee, plastic orr premiuum, over 30 mice and just 2 were ffine.

I wont be buying Logiteech aanyymore.

I've been following the current Unity3D issues and the main thing that jumped out for me was the installer tracking.

As a resident from the EU shouldn't these things be communicated to the end user, just gathering data with no consent seems to be iffy.

Should I just avoid all Unity3D projects to be safe from the data hoarders?

So you decided to start playing Star Citizen but can't seem to get started, here are some basic tips.

First step is DO NOT PANIC.

To interact with things like buttons, pannels, items, ... use the [F] key, press and hold then use the mouse for interactions.

There is signage all over, look around and try to get your bearings when lost in the cities.

Your first mission is to get your ass off planet and set a spawn in one of the space stations, Olisar dwellers should head to GrimHex since the space station doesn't have a hospital.
To set a spawn simply go to the insurance terminal available in all the hospitals. Do not forget to set a new spawn of you decide to go to another locatio

I've been following the Star Citizen project for a long time and lately I'be become increasingly concerned about CIG and their insistence of facilitating aim-bot creators with their long dev time.

Normally with MMO projects there is a gap of a couple of months between the game releasing and the availability of competent bots. But since SC is taken over a decade most Aim-Bots are already getting very competent in both flying and shooting.

Just look at past posts, don't even have to go very far to find examples, people are openly proclaimed their bots to be very adapt in handling even so called 'skill' mechanics.

Frankly it's disgusting and you all need to stop.

I've been looking to add some more SC content creators, preferably with a non positive spin (to balance out all the positive viewpoints).

Mods seem a bit touchy on this subject (my previous post got blackholed) so keep it civil (no dunking on folk etc).

Auto-Ban refundians from creating posts.

Just like new accounts are banned we should be banning refundians, comments are fine, just stop the low effort posts.

Same for people asking for polls ....

Mods will still be able to allow quality post from refundians to go through, so quality should improve.

I noticed in the past two decades that cops have become way more aggressive/disrespectful.

It used to be that in the before times you could talk to cops and they acted respectful but nowadays I've had way too many interactions and they have all been negative. From claiming a suspect lived in my apartment and being very condescending when I tried to explain that would be impossible, to not even providing a PV when my dad was attacked by a dog.

It's like all the cops nowadays are skinhead bootlickers that get off on authority. It didn't use to be that way. The worst I had happen in the past was bored/tired cops or a verbal warning but those times seem to be gone.

Simple question.

Did the Techpower provided BIOS work for you?

I've seen a lot of posts with people claiming to have done the vBIOS thing but failed and then it transpires that they downloaded it from Techpower.
I myself fell into this trap, downloaded all the vBIOS versions for my card and tried them all, they all failed, manually copied the vBIOS from my GPU and poof magic it works.
