I just wanted to try an old character of mine, because i want to expand on that build this season, but i cannot play it, since i never played legacy and thus have no levels in CoF and 4 of my items can't be used by the character who's wearing them.

This feels... kinda weird to me?

Am i really required to play a Legacy Character for the sake of pushing my CoF Level to not have that problem in the future?

Since last update i had it happen in increasing frequency that:

1. Mobs didnt Spawn in Simulacrum thus bricking it mid wave
2. Great Mirrors spawned on terrain resulting in me not being able to klick them

This is becomeing kinda frustrating :/

When i happen to die in a map that would give me a atlas skillpoint for one of the mechanics, the map is reset to a state where it is impossible to complete it anymore.

Both objectives have to be done, but the mechanic i should finish doesnt exist anymore. And the only monster remaining in the map is the boss.

This results in me finishing the boss quikcly for my T15+ Mapdrop and then repreating the same empty map at Tier 1 so i get my skillpoint.

This happend to me with Breach and Delirium so far.

Not sure about the other mechanics, but it is REALLY annoying.

I made the Breach Fortress, got to the Boss, got randomly oneshot and still had 3 retries on the Map.

I got respawned at the entrance, the map was empty and my objecrives were rest too, with there being no Breach Hives to finish.

So i kill the Boss, and am left with an empty map i cannot finish which counts as attempted.

Pretty annoying 😞

Aoes and Projectiles everywhere, Volatiles on top, Debuffs galore, no chill whatsoever.

And then i have to do it THREE TIMES TO ASCEND?

Hell, i am at a point where i think Sekhemas is tolerable. Still could take some pages out of Anctum and actual Roguelikes, but it is okay for now.

But hell no i am never doing a Chaos Trial again. Not even because it is to hard, it was fairly easy tbh, but it was hella annoying. Zero fun.

Specifally talking about Charged Staff on a lightning Monk.

I kinda don't wanna give up my shock chance to electrocute, thus leaving me with siphoning strike and killing palm. Both skills feel clunky as fuck to reliably generate charges.

Also i want to use Tempest flurry, but since i need charged staff uptime, i use killing palm like 40% of the time, and on bosses i have to rely on siphoning strike, wich is somehow even weaker in terms of generating powercharges than killing palm.

I am aware that i am at best medicore at making my own builds, but man... mechanicly this feels soooo clunky and unrewarding.

At Seasonstart i had no real problems getting havocs and redemptions.

Now i swim in redemptions but dont have a single havoc.

Am i this unlucky now, or is it bugged?

I am glad the hard aspirational content exists, but in the current Meta i feel like he was a mistake.

I have built multiple builds myself, that can run 700-1000 corruption relatively easily (as long as no green slugs spawn), have zero problems with normal Abby, but cannot even think of attempting Uber Abby.

The Stats/Performance needed to go into that uber fight are insanely high and it feels borderline mandatory to play one of the 3-4 existing op DPS builds to finish him.

My main problem with this is, that it kinda feels like an out to justify these insane builds that in other contexts would be problematic outliers, since there is content only they are able to clear.

When i Have a nice Base with a Off T7 Affix and i try rune of redemption on it, and i lose 40 FP within 2 crafts, i dont know why i should even bother with crafting.

I can rahter grind until the perfect 4 Affix item drops and ignore crafting entirely.

Yes, redemptions and havocs are powerful on paper, but they are super useless in reality since all they do is to get my item to a state where crafting it even makes sense. It does not finish my item, it makes it ready for beginning working on it.
