Why (electrically) do chained GFCIs cause nuisance tripping?

Of course there’s a danger that a real ground fault will trigger more than one GFCI in the chain. That’s obvious. But why would chained GFCIs cause a trip when there isn’t a ground-fault?

I’ve always assumed GFCIs are like fuses where chaining them is fine and normal. (Your main breaker, branch breaker, and the fuse in your mixer are in series)

I’m looking for a shatter resistant container that I can use to store dead batteries like AAs, C-cells, and 2032 coin cells.

I’m looking for something that is somewhat acid/alkali resistant. I want something that won’t have the bottom melt out of it if some of the batteries leak.

I wouldn’t be using this to store any sort of lithium batteries, due to the fire risk.

Does anyone have a suggestion for what sort of container (probably plastic) would work well for this? Maybe HDPE?

I was reading this post, and it got me wondering: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskElectricians/s/O8mU9fiSgG

Do the breakers feeding a MWBC need to match? Let’s say you have a 15 amp on one side, and a 20 amp on the other. (let’s also assume that they are tied together, unlike the post I linked)

It feels like it should be fine, because the max current should be limited on each side by the load under normal circumstances, and should be limited by the breaker if something goes wrong.

I’m wondering if I’m missing something though

I’ve seen people talk about using 220V teapots in the kitchen. That got me wondering if you could use an existing multi-wire branch circuit into the kitchen to install a Nema 6-15 outlet. While still keeping both halves wired into the outlets and lighting they already serve.

Let’s assume the breakers are GFCI 20A.

Let’s say that I’ve got a bottle of carbonated Root Beer, and I remove the lid, causing the liquid to fizz. I’m ignoring evaporation of the water.

Will the temperature of the liquid be reduced by the expansion of the CO2?

Does the CO2 un-dissolving from the Root Beer count as the sort of phase change (like water boiling) that removes heat from the liquid?

I’m guessing the liquid has enough mass that we can’t measure the change with a kitchen thermometer, but I’m curious about the theory.

I beat 7B, which was frustrating, but satisfying, even if I now hate clouds. Flags 13->12 and 9->8 were half my deaths on 7B.

I've tried Core 8B, and I just can't do this. It just feels completely un-fun. I never liked the conveyors or launch blocks in Core-A, even though I got all the strawberries on it.

Core-B is even worse, and I don't want to kill my love for this game.

Is this a good place to stop? Should I give Farewell a try? I've already gotten to checkpoint 3 (Remembered). Maybe I should use assist mode to skip Core and try the C-sides?

So I’m on the 6th tower of the 4th island. Activated two of the “lift checkpoints” and soon after than there’s a point where you go through a loop, then need to homing attack 2 big enemies in a row. I attacked the first, and flubbed the second. Now the second is gone and not respawning. I even quit to the main menu and loaded my save, but it’s still gone.

Is there any way to get past it without waiting for the next starfall?

Let's say that I have an internet connection that's 500Mbps. This is 500 in either direction, but not both. So I can treat is as a 200/300, or 450/50, but not 500/500. I want my computer to be able to backup, while not disturbing my roommate's Netflix, voice chat, or gaming.

I wish I could set a maximum bandwidth cap for BB. For example, 400Mbps. That way it won't disrupt my roommate's low-latency stuff. Ideally, I could set this and the existing throttling at the same time, and it would use whichever is lower.

At this point, someone is probably going to tell me I can use DD-WRT/Tomato/Pfsense/whatever. I know that, but I want a solution that works on a n

Can I power a UAP-AC-PRO from a EdgeRouter X or an EdgeSwitch 10X? The ES10X is NOT a ES10XP.
What most confuses me, is I can't tell if the ERX or ES10X can supply PoE if they're powered from a wall adapter, or if they can only pass it through, if they also are powered using PoE.

The UAP-AC-PRO claims it can run off 802.3af PoE 802.3at PoE+. I think that means either of those will work?
