alright, so i have officially made it through week 2 with hsv2 (but only on day 6 of being diagnosed). i originally started to have extremely mild symptoms june 5th and by june 10th is when i realized something was wrong lol. after now knowing what i have, i know its not the same experience for everyone but physically.. this is not that bad at all. i was so scared to catch this because ive seen how bad it can get, my own personal experience has not been bad. ive seen someone post in this group that she has had yeast infections worse than this & i agree lol. it definitely is a mental thing more than physical. am i ok mentally about this? absolutely not BUT im doing ALOT better than i would h

hey guys, so i recently was just tested positive for ghsv2 2 days ago (ive had the outbreak symptoms for over a week now) but i just started my period this morning. the outbreak is in the perineum/close to vag opening so its already been hard to keep the area dry. is there anything i should do during my period to help continue the healing? i been taking valtrex and the pain has already reduced since starting to take it friday night. im just obviously new to this since i just found out and just trying to learn the best ways to work with this new thing im dealing with. thanks!

im just using this as a place to get my thoughts off.. im 24(f) . I never ever contracted anything & finally the day has come and tested positive for hsv2. I never have sex without a condom (even though i know its still transmissible with one). i am extremely knowledgeable on many stds because i always wanted to protect myself. but, i also enjoy sex and didnt want my fear to constantly get in the way of enjoying my life. anyway, when i started experiencing the possible symptoms i didnt think much of it because my coochie is always so damn sensitive. i had a little sting on thursday 6/5 with nothing visible but i just got a wax 2 days prior and thought maybe i was just a little irritated. but

Whenever i get a full STD panel, they test for Mycoplasma Genitalium by Multiplex PCR - is that the same for testing for Ureaplasma or is it a different test?

Ive never thought to test for Ureaplasma before until my ex recently told me that his other ex girlfriend had tested positive for Ureaplasma during her pregnancy while they were together & me and him slept together back in November so now its been kind of on my mind.

Hi! Im (23F) So almost a month ago, (November 22nd) I met up with an ex, who ive been with for 5 years prior to us breaking up we would occasionally still have casual sex a couple times a year, no problem. Never had any issues, i have gotten tested multiple times throughout the past couple years to make sure im all good & healthy as i have developed a fear of STDS.

So this time around (November 22nd) we had sex but i just recently got tested and knew i was good but had him just get tested so if i saw he was in the clear i can move forward and know everything is all good. Everything was negative but His HSV2 results came back at 1.69IGg - He had no idea that this would be the result (i dont

I took a plan B a couple weeks ago & started bleeding 5 days later & continued to bleed for 2 weeks (very light compared to my regular periods but who wants to bleed for that long??)!!! I haven’t taken one in YEARS & never had this happen (im also 100 pounds lighter so im not sure if being smaller now had anything to do with this) but this time it has completely caused nothing but havoc on my body. And whats even better is that as soon as the bleeding subsided, I developed a yeast infection which im sure is from the major hormonal changes that 1 tiny $50 pill caused. ive been to the gyno twice about the abnormal bleeding, they said its normal and that plan b is notorious for messing up your

Mild burning

Advice Needed

Hi! A little over 2 weeks ago I took a plan B which resulted in starting some early bleeding & ive been bleeding for almost 2 weeks now (Ive visited my gyno & gave him the timeline of taking the pill and the start of my bleeding) . And im now starting to experience some irritation, slight burning feeling, no itch or anything, but ive been using a frozen bag of fruit wrapped in a towel to give some relief, and its been helping but is there anything else i may be able to do/use to help?

So 23(F) - Im here because ive been filled with anxiety for the past week & will most likely continue to do so for the next several weeks. Ive been in a monogamous relationship for about 2 years and decided to end things for a few reasons. I decided to have sex with my ex at some point. We were together for about 5 years, never ever had any issues with him giving me anything ever, ive never had an STD in my entire life. I trust him with my life/health. Anyways, i get checked about every 3 months, even within my recent relationship due to a scare from a SA before i met my recent boyfriend.. Ever since then ive been extremely cautious and on top of my sexual health so i know im clean of everyt
