This is just for home use, two floors, all wood for Canadian line. Think this might be a good replacement?
I like Mikrotik mostly cause I used to use Router OS back in the very early day (around 2000s) for the purpose of Ethernet-over-ip due to legacy software having no real way to reprogram and connect across different sites. That is no longer in use but I am still in love with how flexible the router OS compare to pretty much anything else.
Now that my tplink c7 using DD WRT is experiencing packet loss and showing some age when I get to a 150mb connection. Thinks this might be a good way to start my way back into mikrotik?

Before you say anything! I know. I know. It is a crap memory. Even though A number of people has really good experience with overclocking this, I shouldn't be too optimistic.
And indeed, I was not. I expect it to top out at 2400, at maybe 16-16-16-34 2N or something, but to my surprise. This memory is currently working flawlessly at 3000 1

tomshardware.com/news/dell-xps-15-cooling-int...Basically asking for compatibility between x62 and Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut, since I want to put it between the core and the CPU heat spreader as well as between the heat spreader and the x62. It looks like it will work long as I am being careful with the application. Has anyone tried this before? any suggestion besides Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut being conductive and need to be extra careful?
Don't get me wrong. I don't like it either, but I too think it should be an optional challenge (Along with a few other interesting nerf, like, for example, snipers now require rangers or solider to act as spotters. All unit will require ammo resupply, etc etc) and / or become story relevant. Which also gave me a few other ideas.
- Perhaps on a new map where air conductivity is not good and power generator needs to work extra hard.
- Maybe a new setting where the range of Tesla tower will depend on how much spare electricity you have.
- Maybe a new type of power plant where energy generation depends on what type of fuel you have? Using stone as fuel never made any sense to me. Why not w
