i'm just stuck. i don't know how to feel. my dog had a sudden injury and was put to sleep the next day, and while i'm glad she didn't have to suffer, part of me wishes there was more warning so i'd have spent more time with her.
it's not even been 2 days so it's all really fresh and i shouldn't expect to feel okay right away but sometimes i'll feel completely fine and it makes me think that i'll be okay, and then suddenly a switch flips and i'm a mess. i hung out with my friends today hoping it would help and i was fine at first and laughing and joking around with them, and then suddenly got so upset i couldn't talk, i was just staring into space and walking around with them but i could ba
i just wish people could be normal about autistic people. i'm not expecting everyone to understand the right thing to say all the time but some basic human decency would be nice. i'm just tired of my (neurotypical) college classmates making fun of autism and throwing the r word around when they know i'm autistic and within earshot. i know none of it is directed at me but it feels really bad mannered and it's starting to get to me. i know it sounds overly sensitive but idk i suppose that's just how i am. it helps to vent. i appreciate anyone who stopped to read this <3
Okay so I used to work, can't anymore for a while due to disability and mental health problems, I took out debt I thought I could pay back but my job messed me around and took away my hours so I couldn't earn the money to pay it back and I tried to get a new job but nowhere would take me and then I crashed and burned mentally so I'm out of work for the foreseeable future. It's really hard to keep on top of it, I think I have less than 1k in debt and I know others have it worse but that is a lot of money to me and I can't see myself being able to pay it back due to the situation I'm in. I called one of the debt support things and they just paused the interest for a few months but I don't have
Wanting to try bupropion because sertraline wasn't the best fit for me, I've heard great things about it up until now where I came across a post praising it and a bunch of comments said it made them suicidal. I'm not suicidal or depressed in the slightest (I have a history of depression but I've been in a really good place for a long time now) and I'm just worried that I might get that specific side effect and wake up one day and do something I can't come back from. Is it moreso something that affects people who are already depressed or can it just jump out at anyone? Sorry if this is a stupid question, just want to be extra careful before trying something new
Just a disclaimer this isn't a dig at Mattel or anything, no one is at fault here I just need to vent because I'll end up crying otherwise. I have been a Twyla fan for as long as I can remember, she's my absolute favourite character in all of Monster High and when I heard she was getting her very own collector doll I was so happy. Come this week, I realised I get paid the day AFTER she gets released :( idk. I just feel bad. I'm sure she'll get other dolls in the future but this release made me so happy I literally dyed my hair to look like her.. aaand now I just feel sad. Anyone else in the same boat?
23F, 5'6, 140lbs, white, don't drink or smoke. I found this spot on my chest today, it's about the size of a pinhead I'd say (photo included). Pink/reddish outside with protruding white in the middle. It was noticably painful today but only painful to touch now. I (stupidly I admit) used a blackhead removal tool on it, the white part came off, but it has since healed back to pretty much exactly how it was before. Is it serious? I'm worried. Google (AGAIN STUPID I KNOW) says it's an abcess and can become septic. halp :(
So I made friends with a new person in college this year, they seemed nice at first and we got along really well but they turned out to actually be a pretty awful person. They are one of those people who is somehow always the victim in every situation they're in and never admits fault to anything, they are constantly spreading rumours and telling tales about other people in order to stoke drama. I was able to put up with this for a while out of desperate need for companionship (and I understand I was wrong for this, I should have ended the friendship when they started displaying that behaviour), but recently I found out some really awful stuff from their past and also found out they've been
22F, 5'6, 145lbs, white, dealing with left shoulder pain and arm weakness for 5 years, don't drink don't smoke, not on any meds.
So this pain's been bothering me for about 5 years now, I was getting regular flares of pain and my shoulder would crack/click loudly any time I moved it, 5 years ago I saw my doctor about it and was told it was all in my head. Had an xray 2 years ago and it came back normal. The pain isn't unbearable but it's at the point where it gets really distracting and for the past 3 or so years it's started making my arm weak too. Sometimes it flares up when I lift something heavy or do repetitive arm movements at work but it also can just come out of nowhere when I'm goi
