If you were browsing a "stock image" type site with the intent to buy or download HDR images specifically for IBL and backing plates, what would you like to see?
Would views of the image at different exposure values matter to you? What about high-resolution zooms of the image's details?
What kind of rights do you want - royalty free only or is high-quality rights managed imagery something you would consider?
I am curious because I am currently in the process of creating just such a marketplace and I want to know what you, the creators of virtual worlds, want to see before you decide to buy an image for IBL purposes.
Thanks for your answers!
I am something of an amateur geologist. By that, I mean that I like to pick up interesting looking rocks whenever I find myself in a new places and give them fanciful names ending in "-ite" or "-ine."
Yesterday, I was reading about Lesotho and the wikipedia article mentions the importance of the Orange River to the economy, ecology, and geography of Lesotho. So I started reading about the Orange River and in that article there was this aerial or satellite photo.
When I first saw the photo I had only a few questions:
- Why is there such a marked difference in the landforms on the east side
