Hey everyone! I'm planning to marry in October 2027, so I want to get started on finding my dress. I am not planning to wear a white dress. I am looking for something dark (black, blue, or purple). So I'm not limiting myself to just bridal shops. I'm looking for recommendations for dress shops that sell formal dresses that are a decent quality, or bridal shops that have options for dark colours. Alternatively, I have thought about getting something custom-made, so if anyone has gone that route, I'd love to hear about it.

I'm in Sudbury, but I travel to Toronto and Ottawa a few times a year so any locations in, around, or between those areas would be great. Thank you!

I was at Jealousy Beauty at Queen and Spadina today to get some hada labo lotion and saw that they had boxes of MBD masks for $13 or so. That seems cheaper than it usually goes for, but I've never seen the real thing in person so couldn't tell if it was legit. Has anyone else been to jealousy who can attest to whether or not they are fakes? Thanks!

Update: After reading the responses, I'll probably go back (I want go get some Hada Labo foaming cleanser too, which I didn't see until I was on my way out) and pick up a box. It's much easier than going all the way out to T&T since even the "downtown" location is an hour out of my way by TTC. Thanks for the advice!

My searches have brought up nothing, so maybe you fine folks Redditors can help.

My office is looking to have our holiday party at a restaurant downtown. Our issue is that two of the employees keep Kosher, so we need to find a restaurant that has Kosher options (not necessarily a dedicated Kosher restaurant, which is all I find if I use Google/Yelp/etc.), or that will allow us to bring in outside food for those two. Does anyone know of any place, preferably near King and Spadina, that they can recommend? The only place I know of is Lee, and we went there last year.

Thanks in advance for any help!

My roommate and I have been wanting to cosplay Brave Frontier for a while now. The thing is, we can't decide which characters to do. We have a lot of favourites, but we'd like to do something that is not impossible (some of the gigantic 6* units with floaty bits are a bit insane), and are popular enough to be recognizable. What do you guys think? Who do you want to see? Have you seen any really good BF cosplays? Currently our top picks are Alice and Vargas.

Note: This is for my husband, I'm posting on his behalf.

Recently graduated from the Cambrian College Electrical program, currently working for [electrical company I won't name], and looking for a new job. My current employer does not have enough electricians to support the number of apprentices they have, so while I have been performing the duties of a full apprentice (usually with no supervision), I'm not registered as one. Technically I shouldn't even be touching the wires, but you do what you have to to keep a job, even when they make you work 50-60 hour weeks with no overtime pay.

Hopefully you can see why I'm looking for something new.

I'd like to become a registered apprentice, s

I have been looking around for freezer paper/butcher paper for crafting, and I haven't been able to find it anywhere! I've tried Walmart (Dufferin), Loblaws (Queen and Portland), Dollarama (multiple locations), and some independent grocers around town. I've also done some product searches online for Canadian Tire and Michaels. I've been told that the Real Canadian Superstore has some, but they're pretty far and a product search on their website has also given me little hope. Does anyone know where I can find the stuff, so I don't have to wander through every grocery store/department store in the city? (I have heard I can get it online through Amazon, but I need it ASAP. I hoped to have some
