I tried, i really tried to like the post demo abyss but this is just not it, the new abyss feels straight up unplayable when compared to its previus version.
Enemies feel much harder to take out, they seem to feel no pain and can kill you even if when missing 1 or more limbs and even if you get them down you can't just force them to surrender, you have to bash them over the head over and over until they decide to die.
At the same time the AI feels much more brain dead, they will mindlessly charge you and swing their weapon once, drop it, grapple you and eat your face. What's worse it works and you have to pray you don't get smacked once resulting in your character deciding to die.

action.wemove.eu/letter/2025-09-Global-Flotil...I was pinned against the ground, a sharp claw digging into my neck as the creature on top of me snickered in glee. I screamed, hoping that, somehow, somebody would come.
But the nail began to cut across, my face was running with tears as I screamed with everything I had.
Then my scream went silent, my lungs filled with blood, I desperately tried to breathe but all that came out was wet gurgling as a gold speckled blue puddle formed beneath me, slowly my breathing slowed, the creature holding me down let me go, they didn't need to hold me anymore.
My breathing finally stopped and as my senses began to fade, mocking laughter being the last thing I heard as everything went dark

Just wanted to ask everyone if while you are reading a fic set in Japan or based on a manga/anime do you like the use of honorifics like Senpai, Chan, Kun
If Emma ever gets to showcase human music I really hope she shows off some version of "do you hear the people sing" with some nexian subtitles (especially if we are talking about one of those versions with multiple languages)
Would be so good to see reactions to "earthrealm savegey" elevated to the status of art.
The soft crackle of a campfire woke me up, my head rang as I slowly opened my eyes and sat down. I was inside a simple bedroll right next to a small campfire,
As I rubbed my eyes, my mind finally caught up, I heard their screams, the wet sounds of ripping flesh, the banging against the carriage doors.
I shot upward onto my legs with a scream
“Whoa! Whoa! Calm down, you are safe” I finally noticed the figure next to the campfire, clad in silver armor. The woman was clearly a knight, yet she didn't wear anything to identify he
So I've got three "big" fics and each time I look at them I question my ability as a writer:
- one fic is decently viewed rare pair I abandoned
- another one only has 300+ views and I genuinely put my heart and soul into it
- the last one is some extremely vile smut that I can't believe I haven't gotten hate mail for yet... It's the most popular fic I ever wrote.
I get that the middle fic is in a quite... Quiet fandom... but damn, it just feels bad sometimes.

I took a deep breath as the red glow of the igniting sun washed over me and the plaza below, hundreds if not thousands of my parents' subjects gathered this year for the celebration.
I walked fully onto the balcony, the quiet chatter below replaced by loud cheers for their princess. I smiled softly and waved before tracing a sigil into the air, the symbol glowing in gold before breaking as I completed it.
“Welcome, my dear subjects!” My voice boomed onto the people below though my spell’s power, “Today we begin the 350 anniversary of the gods saving us from the greatest threat the land has ever seen…” the crowd grew quiet again as I spoke
”Today we celebrate the
