So I recently met with an astrologer and they told me how Saturn currently transiting my 8H will bring karmic partners; however, I was also told this back when Saturn was transiting my 7H in Pisces. It was actually crazy how this played out in my chart as I had a long term relationship spanning the entirety of Saturn transiting my 7H and we broke up not long after it moved into my 8H. But now I’m being told that it’s just another 3 years of karmic partners as Saturn goes through the 8H ?? I’m curious where this perspective comes from as I feel like the idea of Saturn transiting through the 7H makes sense as that relates to long term partnership, but the 8H doesn’t focus as much on it. I also

Doing some cleaning out and I have a ton of fleece blankets and a duffel bag/luggage that’s old but is still in really good shape. I wanted to donate them to a foster home or homeless shelter but can’t find anywhere in TO/VC where they’ll readily accept these items. Any recs?

I’ve been heavily thinking about getting the CSP since I’m currently in an LDR and travel domestically several times a year and the ticket prices can really add up. I’m curious if people actually feel like they spend enough to reap the benefits of this card without another one of the other chase cards like the CFU or CFF. I’d love to have a card that will help offset direct costs of my trips but am not sure I’d actually be racking up enough points since the categories are kind of niche (online groceries/streaming). I’ve considered other cash back cards but feel like the direct points transfer to Southwest/United is a huge benefit since those are the airlines I use most and the flexibility of

hey yall, I’m new on this sub and wasn’t really sure where to post this question so here I am lol. My partner’s qualifying exams are next week and they’ve been horridly stressed for months now preparing (chem programs will do that to u lol) but I really want to get them a special gift to celebrate once they’ve got the official pass! However, we’re long distance right now so a nice dinner or cake is sort of out of the question. I’m curious if anyone has anything notable that helped them through their PhD and would be a nice gift to get. Sorry if this isn’t the right sub to ask this question, but hoping to get some good ideas from frequent visitors who have more experience with a PhD program t

Numbuzin No. 1 sunscreen has been one of the only sunscreens that doesn’t leave me super oily or really tight and dry with my oily, dehydrated skin. I went to repurchase recently and found out they reformulated :(( I’m curious about haruharu wonder or house of hur dewy sunscreen, or possibly even Paula’s choice spf 50??? I like the texture of the Numbuzin sunscreen a lot - super lightweight but not so thin that it doesn’t feel hydrating at all. Curious for recs as I gotta find a new HG 😔

I got the BofA CCR back when I was a teenager and frankly it’s never been my favorite card because of the caps on categories and 3% on only one rotating category every month. I’ve since been considering a new card and was hoping for some opinions! I do travel several times a year and have thought about a travel card like the chase sapphire preferred, but am not sure if it’s worth it over a good cash back card like the Savor One or Amex Blue. I’d of course love to save money on my flights and hotels but it seems like I have to spend a LOT on the CSP card to get enough points for one flight alone, and their points system isn’t super broad in terms of getting more than 1X points for purchases.

I’m looking to switch to banking with credit unions rather than big banks. I’ve looked at CUs like California Credit Union, Kinecta, Logix, and Wescom. I was leaning towards CCU or Wescom but can’t seem to find great reviews for either online lol. Biggest complaints seem to be surrounding outdated apps/mobile banking, unreliable customer service, or slow transactions. I’m curious what others opinions are on either, or if there’s another CU I should look at! I’m really just looking to open a savings account so nothing crazy.

I’ve been on the HUNT for some underwear that’s mostly cotton or modal, has some fun prints, and isn’t so thin that it’ll rip super quickly. I see people rave about Aerie but their stuff is so so thin??? I love the designs of TomboyX and Woxer but can’t support the brands anymore and heard quality has gone down anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’ve looked at brands like Thunderpants, La Vie En Rose, and Shinesty but I’m not sure if there’s better stuff out there. I’d appreciate any input!!

Basically what the title says lol. I'm very responsible with money and have a lot of great financial habits, but I really struggle with budgeting because I can't visualize my money in groups well lmfao. Like all these spreadsheets and apps I see are great, but my biggest qualm is the money in my savings account doesn't change (obviously). Like I can say I'm budgeting $1500 for car expenses but that money is just sitting in the same savings pile it usually does if that makes sense. It doesn't "leave" my savings account and go into a separate bucket to make sure I don't touch that money. I wish I could just have a savings account for every single budget category but that isn't reasonable consi

As I've been on the search for a new credit card, I am curious if people tend to prefer cash back or points rewards. I've been really interested in cards that offer points rewards that can be redeemed for airline travel; however, isn't this is a risk due to booking through third-party websites?? (aka the bank travel portal). However, the cash back doesn't always add up super quickly either, so I can't imagine using it often for travel expenses more than once a year. I'm kind of torn between the two and would love to just hear what people have found most beneficial for them over the years! Thanks!

My partner currently lives on an extremely chaotic bundle of my lines - specifically my Pluto IC, Sun MC, Saturn MC, and NN lines, all within a few miles of each other. I visit several times a year and slowly fall more in love with the city lol. I’m really grateful to always have positive experiences here, although I never get to spend more than 10 days and was wondering if that was why.
