Is there any way to adjust or "tighten" the tension of the back recline even more than the tensioner rod under the chair will go?

I have an Amia that I bought new around 6 years ago and I've never been completely happy with the back tensioner. It seems to have only gotten a little looser over time and I have cranked the tension rod as far (tight) as I can safely go without possibly stripping it. I can easily recline back in the chair without much tension/resistance at all to hold my back in a certain position that I'd like - somewhere half way back.

I'd love to know if it's possible to re-adjust that tensioner somehow, so that it can be tightened up even more!

I really do love the chair b

I'm using the Reddit app and have enabled all associated links from within the settings in app info on Android (set as default - supported web addresses).

No matter what I do, I can't get Reddit links from emails, other apps, or websites to open up within the Reddit app and take me directly to the post. It will only open up the Reddit app and take me to the front page.

Is there a fix for this?

I've been back and forth all week researching and debating on which new cookware to get and finally decided to go with the Cuisinart MultiClad Pro (and test my luck on getting sealed rims).

I ordered the set through the Cuisinart store on Amazon (Sold and shipped by Amazon). The listing shows the product number to be "MCP-12N", but upon inspection of the box and etching on the bottom of the cookware themselves it is actually "MCPS-12N" . I also noticed that the box says "Made in Vietnam" instead of China. Maybe this is the "newer" model that rumors pointed to having sealed rims.

After a pretty thorough inspection of each individual piece, it appears to me that the rims on all of the

I'm in the market for new cookware (switching from nonstick to stainless) and would like something of good quality without breaking the bank.

A friend recommended this Cuisinart 11-piece Professional Series set: https://www.cuisinart.com/professional-series-cookware-11-piece-set/89C-11.html

That set seems to have just about everything I would need and actually use most of the time. I would probably also like to pick up a 12" pan, either stainless or nonstick to go along with it.

How is the Cuisinart Professional Series set?

I've been looking around this subreddit and haven't seen it mentioned. I do see the MultiClad Pro mentioned, but I'd like to stay a little under that price wise - s

I have some POL (ETH) in a Cake Wallet that I would like to swap to LTC. I have approximately $10 USD worth of ETH in Cake Wallet as well. That should be enough to cover gas fees? No matter what I do I cannot get a swap to work. What am I doing wrong?

Seems like there's a bug when you are watching a channel and then bring up the guide or menu. The audio level drops almost to almost half of what you normally hear while watching a channel full screen.

Hope this can be fixed.

If I have an existing individual firstnet line and I want to add a second line to my account (firstnet + family plan), will I lose the promotional credits that I'm getting from my trade-in months ago?

I'm looking to switch from Samsung Messages as my default app and I'm used to deleting conversations and having them go into the "trash" where they could be viewed at a later date or even restored to the inbox.

  • Is there any way to do this with the Samsung themed Google Messages app (Galaxy S22)?

I see the archive option but not really sure what that's used for.

  • Do archived conversations stay archived permanently or do they move back into the inbox if a new message is received by an archived contact?

  • Is there a time limit before messages get deleted automatically (like 90 days or so)?

I recently had Optimum Gigabit installed (unfortunately the only ISP available at my residence) and they initially set me up with the Altice branded Ubee UBC1326 Modem/Router which would drop my internet connection up to 3 times a day at random times. I had enough and went out and bought an Arris SB8200 and a TP-Link AC4000 Router. I have yet to notice any loss of connectivity with the new SB8200 and router, although my speeds seemed to have dropped a bit.

With the Ubee directly wired to my PC, I was getting around 700-900Mbps down and 45-53Mbps up when it was working. After installing the SB8200 I ran the Cat 6 cable from my modem to my PC and got speeds within the same range

I was finally able to pick up a 74" Karlby in the beautiful walnut finish.

I see in the description of the Karlby that it's supposed to come with two strips of veneer for the edges (I haven't opened the box because I don't have drawers yet).

I am wondering if anybody has cut theirs down to a shorter length? (maybe around 60" or so). Do these table tops cut cleanly and will it look just as good if I put one of the replacement strips on the cut edge?

Is there a way to always show the close button on inactive tabs, so that I don't have to click on the tab (and load it) and then click on the X to close it?

I'm looking to buy an iPhone 11 but I don't want to change my plan or make payments.

How would I go about purchasing a new iPhone 11 and saving the most money?

Will there be deals coming up for Black Friday if you buy the phone outright?

EDIT: it's a prepaid plan so this is why I don't want anything that would change/upgrade the plan or lock me into a contract.
