Something in me finally clicked today. Something that felt very similar to how I felt when I finally admitted to myself that I was bi.

I didn't know about all the egg stereotypes when I was younger, despite having many good friendships with people in the LGBT community, so I always saw myself as just a sensitive and somewhat eccentric guy - I would have never applied the label "feminine" to myself. And yet...

All my sketchbooks are filled with beautiful long-haired girls who happen to look an awful lot like me. I can count the number of male characters I've played in an RPG on one hand. I would smash The Button. I have a habit of acting super girly when drunk. I have, in fact, gone dress

I've been abused and traumatized. I'm just drunk enough to allow myself to say that. Tonight is a dangerous and holy night.

My brother showed me his penis and told me what it was for. I played, as children play. He knew my nature. He knew I played, and showed me a toy to play with. How could I resist?

He strangled my other brother, i knew him then as a sister. This is not a metaphor. He was violent. He responded to our fear with further violence. Now I drink to know that violence again. God, what's wrong with me?

That violence burrowed deep. Somewhere in my synaptic connections there is an elbow raised, a penis erect. Hot and hard and cruel and soft and painful all at once. I don't know i

Essentially, while exploring some of the advanced CraftTweaker features, I found it may be an ideal method of cheating my way past the chore of writing custom mods, but I'm having difficulty understanding how to apply certain features just from the documentation alone. I remember back with MineTweaker there were various repos/pages which had lots of example scripts for common tasks, and it was super helpful. Is there currently anything like that for CraftTweaker currently?

As far as the actual script I'm trying to write goes, essentially I'm trying to modify the drops returned when a player with a specific game stage unlocked harvests a specific block. I got as far as creating a handler for

Here's something I've been thinking about lately: "Tactical" combat. Where does it lie in the modern RPG design space? What kinds of games should include it, what purpose does it serve?

I find that as my game becomes increasingly influenced by Forge-ian design concepts, the more the combat rules begin to stick out like a sore thumb. I've repeatedly tossed around the notion of folding them into a simple conflict resolution system like Primetime Adventures or In a Wicked Age does, but something in me strongly resists this. I like them too much. I want crunchy, tactical, "gamist"^1 combat on my table when I'm playing my game, even though the rest of the game is nothing like that. Why? I don't

Heya, new to this sub and to PC building in general. Finally decided it was time to knock together a rig for some light gaming - I don't need insane picture quality or unwavering 60-fps framerates, just something that can run modern games at a playable speed on low or medium settings. I want to leave myself plenty of room for future upgrades; eventually, I'd like to extend it with a beefier GPU when the integrated graphics stop cutting it (this is why I went with such a large power supply).
