I’ve recently tried to find an eloquent way to explain being trans to people, and I’ve written a post that I feel is pretty good. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice on how I could make it better?

People who happen to be transgender grow up like Mowgli from The Jungle Book. Mowgli believed he was a wolf, because he had grown up in a wolf culture, been brought up being treated like a wolf cub, and he sadly knew nothing outside of that perspective. He’d always felt different, but couldn’t place why. Unfortunately, he had no way of defining himself, because all he’d ever known was being part of “the pack”. Only when he sees the girl collecting water does

The lockers last year were amazing to have, and I want to get one again this year. But I haven’t seen any info on them. Where can we reserve a locker?

I just hit my year mark at the end of November. I had a FFS consult where the surgeon said “Well, after a year, you won’t see many more changes” and it’s gotten into my head.

While I’m really excited at the shifts I’ve seen in the last year, I’m absolutely hoping for more. (More breast tissue growth, more hip growth, more feminizing of my face and body in general)

So, for those who have experienced HRT over multiple years, did you have more changes after the year mark? Did some of you experience growth spurts after this point? I know YMMV, but I’m just looking for a way to override my fear of “this is all I’m gonna get.”

I was so nervous. I was afraid I’d lose my job, I was afraid of being ostracized, I was afraid of losing the love of my kids.

I transitioned in secret for 11 months, other than my partner and parents knowing and supporting me (a gift, I know). I man-masked every day for work.

I finally decided I couldn’t do it anymore. This week, I realized I couldn’t wait to live my life any longer. I came out to my clients, my kids, my extended family, my friends.

I cannot BELIEVE the outpouring of love, congratulations, and support! If I’d have known it would be like this, I would have come out a year ago.

I think the thing that helped everyone is my positive spin when announcing my true gender, and h

I shampoo twice a week, condition every day, with products meant for low porosity hair. But after I condition every day, (on days I haven’t used shampoo), I need to put more leave-in curl product after each shower, and I think it’s weighing my curls down.

How am I supposed to “refresh” my hairstyle the next day without it looking frizzy? I’ve tried using a shower cap to not get it wet, but I think the humidity from the shower still leaves my hair frizzy. Do people use a spray bottle of water or something? How do you refresh your style/curls without soaking your hair and conditioning each day?

TLDR; I don’t know how to make my hair look great without completely wetting it every day. 3A curl

I’ve (43 mtf) been on HRT for 4 1/2 months, and I’ve been struggling with being tired a lot. My levels are pretty perfect for monotherapy, and I’m happy with them. (250 troughs, injections once a week)

Have you found that second puberty caused you to feel tired? Obviously my body is doing extra work, because my fat is shifting position, and my chest is growing nicely. I’m curious about the experience of others.

I know everyone’s results vary. But I’d love to get a semi-poll, as a way to kinda know the spectrum of what to possibly expect, with maybe some sense of possibility percentages.

So if you are willing, please let me know:

  1. What age you started hormones,
  2. How long you’ve been on hormones
  3. How big your breasts are currently
  4. Optional - overall height and weight

I started at 42, been on hormones two months, and I’m 6’1” 155lbs. I’ve already got a AA-A cup, and I’m excited at that growth this early in the process. My mother and sister both easily have D cups at least, so I’m kinda hoping for Cs, but starting hormones at 42, I don’t know if that is a pipe dream or not.
