I'm using Microsoft flight simulator with a Logitech yoke system and I like to use the Left Right switch to control rudder to keep me on centerline on takeoff. It seemed that this used to work. But now it has no effect on keeping me on centerline and I have to use the yoke. Which oddly wouldn't work in a real plane. Does anybody know why this Left Right switch won't keep your plane on centerline. It seems to have no effect. The yoke is not supposed to be used to control the direction unless you are talking about a crosswind situation. Now when I start every flight in the Cessna 170 aftermarket aircraft it moves off The runway to the right unless I correct with the yoke. I looked at the calib
Just smoked half of a much anticipated Monte Cristo 2. The provenance of the cigars is absolutely certain. They were purchased at casa de puros in Bogota Colombia. Paid $31 each us. There is no question of their authenticity. This first cigar was poorly rolled with the core being too dense and the outer leaves being too loose. Severe burn problems. Had to recut. Wrapper began to come apart. Once I got the cigar burning correctly the Cuban flavor returned. Great flavor but not complex as to be expected with a Cuban puro. Damn poor quality control at the Monte Cristo factory. Not what is expected from a $31 cigar. Cigar came in at moderate or less. Not quite the full flavor I have experienced
Is this a safe place to buy legitimate Cubans?
My wife is going to be in Bogota the next few weeks for a wedding and she will be able to visit a reputable shop in Bogota for purchasing a few Cubans. Their price per cigar for the Montecristo number 2 is about $31 a piece. You think that's reasonable?
How do I select the ocean as a starting place for the spruce goose? I wanted to start it in the water near Long Beach California but I don't see how you select that. It won't take off from the runway at klgb. I don't think it would be long enough anyway.
I see discussions about restoring cast iron frequently here but I never see discussions about using sandblasting or shot peening as an easy and quick method to get a cast iron implement down to bare metal without doing much damage. Is it only the cost the reason that this is not done more frequently? Or is there some sort of damage that can result?
I'm running an AMD ryzen 5 3600 processor and using a RX 6700 XT graphics card with one 2K monitor and two HD monitors. My motherboard is an x570 motherboard with 32 GB of memory and a 2TBb m.2 drive If I upgrade my CPU to a high-end multi-core AMD will I get significantly higher performance on Microsoft flight simulator 2020? With the three monitor setup I'm getting about 30 frames per second. Will a better processor make a big difference?
Is this normal for a ragdoll? A few years ago I got a beautiful Balinese seal point ragdoll cat that was abandoned by their owner. As far as I can tell she is perfectly healthy. Her appetite is good. She is athletic. She meows occasionally and very quietly. However she seems kind of dumb. I have another cat that I would describe as normally intelligent... In fact smart. The rag doll appears to have no self-defense mechanism. She doesn't react much to noise. And she has the unusual habit of finding a new place and staying there for months at a time (counting her daily activities and the time I spend with her.) She will often times sit in a corner facing the corner rather than looking around h
On approximately 12 March 2020 I had a guest coming who worked for a large entertainment company that puts on shows across the country. He cancelled the reservation because his company cancelled their shows in my city. Normally there would have been 100% cancellation penalty but I voluntarily agreed to refund $600 or a $1500 reservation and told him that I would refund more if I received other guests during the time he was scheduled to stay. I was paid $900 on this reservation by Airbnb, taking into account that I already had authorized Airbnb to reduce my payout from $1500 to $900. Unfortunately, someone at Airbnb made a keyboard entry error and instead of witholding $900 from future reve
I think I've been hosting with Airbnb from the very early days. I've had over 400 guests, received more than 200 reviews, nearly all favorable, and am a super-host. My daughter was one of the first 100 employees of Airbnb and I have been told by her and my other customer service Representatives that my reviews are among the best on the platform. Initially I would get maybe one out of twenty problem guests. Then that ratio of dropped to about 1 out of 10 about 2 years ago. Now all I get are problem guests and I am fed up so I quit. The guest before last abandoned a 10 year old child with me. That guest apparently had been living out of a car prior to staying with me. They made no effort to ch
